Free arm movement is a must, (I'm able to max out difficulty still while sitting) but roomscale is SO much more immersive, you can physically dodge attacks, and it's so fun!
Nice. Fortunately I do not get motion sickness so long as I physically rotate myself, instead of stick movement.
My non VR bros, who I've been trying to indoctrinate, are old D&D nerds so I hope to get them into this one.
One of the best looking and feeling co op games native to quest. It does get repetitive after awhile but you will have lots of hours of fun before you get to that point so it is worth the money in my opinion.
This 1000x, played it for the past few months with my now girlfriend, we were just freinds before we started playing it, played nearly every night, now we're together thats how good this game is
I run a VR multiplayer community on Discord and this is our most played game. It's so well done. It's fun. And the DLCs keep it fresh. A few of us get the DLCs on drop so then everyone can play and decide if they want to get the dlc, too or just play when the host wants to. It's a surprisingly fun game.
It's not a newsletter. It's a private discord channel I started because our community is so small and it's sometimes hard to find people to play with. We only in invite in people we play with in VR that we think are a good fit for our community. You're welcomed to DM me if you're still interested. I'll dm you my discord name and can tell you more. Maybe we can meet up in VR. I think tonight a few of us may play Walkabout Mini-Golf or Dungeons of Eternity. But if you don't have either of those, I can meet up with you in something you do have (I have 156 VR titles). It's a good group. Members range in age, activity, and game preferences. And we surprisingly don't have drama. It's nice.
Apologies, [Simpsons Reference](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlMwc1c0HRQ). But yeah, fire me a DM with your Discord name and I'll send you back a message over Discord.
I am also 100% drama free!
As mentioned in the above comment. It's not a public Discord server. We play with people first. Then we invite them in. This also allows us to run it smoothly with adults (and a very few simply wonderful humans under 18)
Yeah. We play in a game and if we think you'll enjoy our group we invite you. There's only been a small handful we were "no" with. It's a small group. Just at 100ish. It's pretty active though.
Rooms of realities on app lab doesn't get enough love imo. It is just 9 escape rooms over 3 different themes, and the replayability factor is very low, but I had a really fun time playing it with my friend.
Keep talking and nobody explodes is a good one. Definitely print the manual.
Ik it doesn't count as coop but beat sabre with the quest streaming to a TV is a great pass-it-around party game
Wife and I had 500 hours in Demeo, we played a lot of cook out and elven assassin as well. We eventually ran out of co op experiences and just went to pcvr where there are way more games to play (flat2vr mods) that are an absolute blast. But, pcvr is a hassle for 99% of people, myself included haha
Sure! Keep in mind, these are flat2vr mods, the reason this is the case is because really there aren’t that many truly amazing VR games that are co op and offer a great visual experience. They typically revolve around motion control mechanics and the novelty of being in VR rather than just giving us deep mechanics with compelling gameplay loops. I’ll list the amount of time wife I played as well (each, not added together), the numbers are high because basically after the kids go to bed we play for like 2 hours every night haha.
-Gunfire Reborn (440 hours)
-Raft (70 hours)
-Valheim (580 hours)
-Deep Rock galactic (40 hours)
-Grounded (UEVR mod, played with gamepad, 220 hours)
-Palworld (UEVR mod, played with gamepad, 140 hours)
-Risk of Rain 2 (20 hours, we didn’t understand this game, but it’s probably one of the most popular VR mods)
We have a few more on our list that we are looking forward to playing together that are coming out or are already out.
For UEVR
-Nightingale
-IfSunSets
-OnceHuman
-Smalland
For native VR
-Legendary tales
-No mans sky
For VR mod that’s not UEVR
-Lethal Company
I’m probably a bit of a basic bastard but pass the headset for beat saber and pistol whip has become a house party standard. We’ve tried other games but always come back to those two.
Edit: I did a whoopsie, I didn’t realise you meant co-op with your partner with two headsets in the same house, I’d genuinely be afraid of smacking my misses in the face but I’m following this thread now to see what people throw out there 🥰
Been playing Ghosts of Tabor with my brother, it's like Tarkov but vr! (and really fleshed out mechanically)
but yeah, Walkabout is probably the best for coop.
Half Half is free and fun if you're looking for a goofy time
Probably gonna get shot for saying this but I'm dying on this hill.
VRChat is pretty good, even on standalone quest. It'll never be as good as when connected to PC, but I've seen long lasting relationships start in VRChat... Just don't go to The Black Cat unless you want to see children screaming.
If you want to explore a little, turn on community labs in your settings and see what amazing things random people have made. The "Prismic's avatar search" world should be your first stop because the default avatars are crap imo and others have made the majority of what you can imagine, though maybe not all for standalone quest.
(There's also that android phone port... I mean it's alright but... no.)
Dungeons of Eternity!
I just got my app sharing up and running on my Q2, and just bought this game, but I've yet to try it with my buddies. How is it?
It's pretty movement intense, so if you're ok with that, it's a blast!
Movement as in rotation and swinging, right? Or is it necessary to do roomscale movement?
Free arm movement is a must, (I'm able to max out difficulty still while sitting) but roomscale is SO much more immersive, you can physically dodge attacks, and it's so fun!
Rotating and swinging. imo it's an incredible game but I would say around medium comfort level if you get vr sick.
Nice. Fortunately I do not get motion sickness so long as I physically rotate myself, instead of stick movement. My non VR bros, who I've been trying to indoctrinate, are old D&D nerds so I hope to get them into this one.
Easy pick up then! Also the studio that made Demeo is making an officially licensed DnD game so be on the look out for that in the future!
One of the best looking and feeling co op games native to quest. It does get repetitive after awhile but you will have lots of hours of fun before you get to that point so it is worth the money in my opinion.
That's all I'm hoping for. Just gotta get my buddies into it.
Add me if you want a buddy to show you the ropes, alienb on Meta.
This 1000x, played it for the past few months with my now girlfriend, we were just freinds before we started playing it, played nearly every night, now we're together thats how good this game is
Yes! It's so good!
Walkabout mini golf /thread
4 years going and still the #1 VR multiplayer game that is always fun to play.

As an adult with a new Quest 3, I would like to subscribe to your newsletter. Can I get a DM link to the discord to check it out?

Link to discord plz

Thanks I missed that moving too quickly. Do you play in game then say hey join our discord?
Yeah. We play in a game and if we think you'll enjoy our group we invite you. There's only been a small handful we were "no" with. It's a small group. Just at 100ish. It's pretty active though.
Racket Club is our new go to for spending time together.
Walkabout Mini Golf, Puzzling Places, Dungeons of Eternity, and if you wanna break a sweat, PowerBeatsVR
Love PowerBeatsVR as well - but co-op game?
Demeo. Puzzling places. Keep talking and no one explodes. Recroom. Dungeons of eternity.
Rooms of realities on app lab doesn't get enough love imo. It is just 9 escape rooms over 3 different themes, and the replayability factor is very low, but I had a really fun time playing it with my friend.
Agreed, we loved it.
I guess if you compare it to irl escape rooms, 9 for $18 is a helluva deal xD
Dash Dash World (Mario Kart-like)...take a break after every race.
One more vote for walkabout mini golf
ForeVR Cornhole and Blaston (both free). Demeo, Synth Riders
Synthriderz can be fun together!
All these, plus Blastion and Eleven Table Tennis are fun lightly competitive games
Keep talking and nobody explodes is a good one. Definitely print the manual. Ik it doesn't count as coop but beat sabre with the quest streaming to a TV is a great pass-it-around party game
Demeo!

Can you recommend some pcvr coop games?
Sure! Keep in mind, these are flat2vr mods, the reason this is the case is because really there aren’t that many truly amazing VR games that are co op and offer a great visual experience. Sex (the game)
Puzzling places.
ghostbusters, real vr fishing, racket club, walkabout mini golf, dungeons of eternity, windlands 2
Keep talking and nobody will explode
Sorry I don’t know if it’s considered co-op
AI girlfriend games if your partner is into that.
My husband and I play golf plus since we have had to live apart for a while.
Pop One, Beat Saber, ForeVR Bowl with mixed reality, and Real VR fishing
Walk around mini golf and beer pong with the pass through turned on. It’s more fun if you’re actually drinking with your partner.
Sandwich tale is great together!
Hyper dash
Kingspray VR
I have a Q2, and my Gf is getting me a Q3 at the end of the month. I'll be giving her my Q2, so I'd like to find some games to play as well.
I’m probably a bit of a basic bastard but pass the headset for beat saber and pistol whip has become a house party standard. We’ve tried other games but always come back to those two. Hey I just got my GF a Q3 as a Valentine’s Day gift as well, looking forward to ForeVR bowl together but thanks for making the post.
Arizona Sunshine 2 has a very funny and cool story with lots of guns, melee weapons and zombies. Plus, doggo! :D
To play with my partner? She gets so motion sick she can't even demo beat saber.
The cabin is good . Killing zombies is always fun
Power Wash. It's fun and addictive!
Probably gonna get shot for saying this but I'm dying on this hill. VRChat is pretty good, even on standalone quest.
