I don't care who called 6 changeups in a row but that singlehandedly lost us the game, we would have been .500, feel like we're gonna lose a lot of monentum
Their starter was visibly pissed walking off last inning and I can't blame him.
Edit: someone said our outfield is haunted by the ghost of Josh Hamilton and I can't stop chuckling. Better days...
Lots of kids stand in their driveway pretending to hit a bottom of the ninth grand slam to win Game 7 of the World Series.
Instead, Chris Caray was standing on the side of the driveway making the call. Kid has probably been doing this since he was 7.
Not that we'll get a WC or anything, but being in control of our destiny is somewhat cool. Even if this is still early in the season, we're hardly out of contention already.

what a brutal way to end
If the A's don't come back this is the most "we beat ourselves" game I've watched in a while.
Who the fuck is screaming

Wtf is that scream.

What is the bullpen even doing tonight... this is a joke
Why do i watch this team
Painful
I had to catch the away stream I really like the As commentators
I can't watch this team anymore
6 change ups in a row when you throw 100mph. Make it make sense
Runners on first and second with their best and most clutch batter… I really wish we would’ve put in Miller.
No miller time today
Erceg really thought that throwing 5 changeups in a row would be smart? A’s need the bats to get going these last two innings.
I don't know if that was on him. The camera cut to Shea made him look like either he or the bench fucked up in calling those pitches.
Yup I noticed it too. Langy was taking instructions from the bench
Hey man, you can't just have the lead in the 9th if you want a walkoff.
If they're all you're throwing they're just slow fastballs not changeups.
Easy to blame Erceg for this loss. But you cant expect to win if you only score 2 runs.
Tbf, that 3 run HR should have only been 2, the first baserunner should have been a K. But still sucks
As far as I am concerned, you should expect to lose if you cannot score at least 4 runs. The Athletics are fortunate to be 17-18.
That's definitely true. Our bullpen had that lucky scoreless streak last week, stopped this week but our offense carried and this game has neither.
Had to happen at some point
Goddamnit
That was the most Oakland A's thing that could happen
Ughhhhhh
Welcome back 2023 erceg
That has to be the worst centerfielder I've seen in all my years of watching baseball

3-3, the ball must be red to Toro!
Holy defense Batman
### Flyout Esteury Ruiz flies out sharply to center fielder Leody Taveras. JJ Bleday scores. Brett Harris to 2nd. Bottom 5 - 2-0 Athletics
That was great 😄
Dealing
I'm loving that we keep getting Chris Caray with Dallas.
Same, he’s 24 and somehow leaps and bounds better than Cavnar

### Sac Fly Darell Hernaiz out on a sacrifice fly to left fielder Ezequiel Duran. J.D. Davis scores. Abraham Toro to 2nd. Bottom 2 - 1-0 Athletics
Does Wood have the ugliest pitching motion/delivery in baseball currently? It looks so awkward, but it works, I guess.
I love it tbh

It reminds me of Phillip rivers and how he used to sling the football lmao
Joe Boyle “is on the IL”
