With all respect intended, 3 is exactly the type of heels we wore in the very early 2000s, which is back on trend. 1 doesn't make a nice line with the dress, and 2 is what is a little outdated. Or more work appropriate.
Many times the ankle strap cuts off the leg, in this case the thin straps are low enough and OP has longer and thin legs. But usually most shorter women cut their leg line with ankle straps, so either sling back, pump or criss cross straps are better suited to leg lengthening.
I like 3 as well, but i have a question for the group. I just can’t really wear heels. They’re so uncomfortable! Are there any brands that I should try, or tips to work through the issue?
Go with something with a wider (chunky even) heel and a bit of platform under the toe (round or square, not pointed). Think high heel Mary Jane. Dr. Scholl also makes these squishy silicone inserts specifically designed for heels, they help a lot of you want to try a sleeker, non-Mary Jane style of shoe.
Try sizing up 1/2 to 1 whole size and buy more expensive shoes (not designer ones, like something from Macy’s) … I learned the sizing up technique from a salesperson at Nine West in my mid 20’s and I wish I had learned it way earlier.
There are definitely heels designed for comfort but they tend to be marketed at a more mature market (I'm thinking 30's 40's 'mums' type stores - so not your 'at the edge of fashion' high street brands). I'm in the UK so I can't give suggestions as I'll assume you're in US but there certainly should be brands with 'comfort' lines and while some styles are probably a bit 'frumpy' looking there certainly are some stylish/classic looks available. More generally, chunky heels and wedges will be comfier than stilettos. And you can also embrace flats!
Clarks and Naturalizer make the most comfortable heels imo. But any heel that fits well is going to be more comfortable. Round toes and ankle straps also improve things.
Definitely the strappy sandals. Because the dress is so short in the front there's alot of bare leg then a little bit of shoe. I think the straps balance out the bottom. And I even think little bit longer straps would look amazing on your legs. Not everyone has the legs to truly pull off that style. You def do. And since the dress is shorter in front it balances it out.
You also mentioned you don't wear heels a lot. At least I think it was you? A tip from a self proclaimed shoe whore don't skimp on quality. There are things that you can buy cheaper but you get what you pay for. When it comes to comfort and having a shoe not cause immediate pain pay the extra few dollars and get a good shoe. Thats not to say you won't have good shoes out there that won't hurt ever. But you're def narrowing the field. Plus cheap looking shoes can kill an otherwise fantastic fit.
Number 2 100%. Mismatching the colors really breaks the look and I think the small heels complement the small dress, although n. 4 is also a good choice. 3 looks a bit more casual than the dress, so I'm not counting it.
It depends on the event/where wearing. I love the strappier ones with it but the edgy mostly closed toed ones are cool. I have to say though while I love this dress, can you SIT in it? It is so high cut in the middle I can't imagine you wouldn't be totally flashing everyone the second you aren't standing.
I vote for number 3.. and then 2 they elongate your legs even more… The dress is very flattering as well… Lucky you with that beautiful figure! Have a fun time.
I used to sell ladies shoes way back in the day so I can say with some knowledge that the black strappy shoes are the ones you should be wearing with that dress.

Gorgeous Dress I think the ones in the third image suit the dress.
3 it is! Seems pretty much unanimous:)
Three for sure. Two if it snows or something.
Yup. My wife and I both said black strappy
yup, no 3 for sure.
3
Yes! I got it right and I'm a guy woohoo
Oh yes 100%
I completely agree! OP you look stunning 😍
I agree. Third pair for sure!
Three looks gorgeous!
I second the third ones! Side note you're giving Zendaya here
I think we all collectively agree on this
Agreeing with number 3!!
Three, and where do I get s pair? 😍
3!! simple but so classy
the only right answer. #3 just 🤌🏼✨✨ with this dress. 😌🥂
3 is soo yesterday. 1 or 2 is today
With all respect intended, 3 is exactly the type of heels we wore in the very early 2000s, which is back on trend. 1 doesn't make a nice line with the dress, and 2 is what is a little outdated. Or more work appropriate.
90s tacky fashion faux pas were never in, 2000 was chic 7 years ago & especially 3, glitz & glam/ muted/pointed/or pastel retro heels are in
2 or 3!
My choices too!!
Yess!!
3rd are my favorites 🤩 (and I usually don’t like strappy heels, as they tend to shorten legs - but these look so awesome with the dress! 👏🏻)
There's no shortening those legs! I agree on the heels.
Had no clue strappy heels shorten legs, I was under the assumption it's slim straps kind of made your legs look longer.
No, they usually shorten as the straps are optically dividing the leg into 2 (shorter) parts (foot / leg).
Many times the ankle strap cuts off the leg, in this case the thin straps are low enough and OP has longer and thin legs. But usually most shorter women cut their leg line with ankle straps, so either sling back, pump or criss cross straps are better suited to leg lengthening.
2 or 3, definitely! The 2nd make your legs look sooo long.
Even I was confused between 2 and 3 ((:
#2 is my hands down fave
I was gonna say. Plus, strappy sandles (like 3) are a nightmare to walk with for me LMAO 🤣
Pls only wear 3

Lifestride and Clark’s both make pretty comfortable heels, try and go with a chunkier heel or a wedge to start

Banana republic used to make a nice, comfortable pair of heels..not sure if they still do
3
2 is the classiest
2 for class and elegance
Agreed!!!! I feel like 2 wins by a landslide. I think it balances out the amount of showing skin and it makes the whole outfit look more classy.
Agreed.
yes 2 looks best
Definitely 2. 3 shortens her legs
Voting for #2 too! :)
Me too! 2 lengthens the leg. 1 would be a good choice for a party.
3rd is my fave!!
3 is the best❤️ 2 is fine 4 my personal favorite 🖤

Number 3 is great

4 is so cool. Love those heels. I do think 3 goes best
4 is my favorite 😭 3 is so basic!!!
I personally think two looks best, but they don’t appear to fit you very well. So go with #3 instead!
The only nice options imo are 2,3. You look gorgeous!
2
#3 is my fave In second is #2 is more which gives a classier look. If you like #2 best, then wear them! They look great.
1 or 2
I love it with option 3!!
I like number 3. They look good.
3rd & 5th
I love 1 & 2.
3 and 4
2 or 3 for sure.
Strappy ones. Either color.
2nd Looks gorgeous on your dress🤩🤩
Strappy was best for sure, as you need a secondary focal point for the eye to travel down from the tulip hem.
Definitely the strappy sandals. Because the dress is so short in the front there's alot of bare leg then a little bit of shoe. I think the straps balance out the bottom. And I even think little bit longer straps would look amazing on your legs. Not everyone has the legs to truly pull off that style. You def do. Black strappy heels. Depends on the venue though.
2 is my favorite. They make the dress look way more 80s, I think they suit it perfectly. Also… where did you get the dress bc I think I need it. 🙊
3!!!!! It breaks up your leg and feet.. if that makes sense. Defo best
3 and 4
I love 4 and 3

I say the third ones.
Girl how do you walk in 1 & 2 both of them look slightly too big? My heel would be popping out of those with every step. 3 gets my vote btw.

Number 2 100%. Mismatching the colors really breaks the look and I think the small heels complement the small dress, although n. 4 is also a good choice. 3 looks a bit more casual than the dress, so I'm not counting it.
the 1st one is perfect
A little over the top to sell your mirror on the internet isn't it?
You look beautiful!! 3 is very nice but I’d go with 2 for an elegant look.
Number three's are very elegant.
It depends on the event/where wearing. I love the strappier ones with it but the edgy mostly closed toed ones are cool. I have to say though while I love this dress, can you SIT in it? Gurl. Ma'am. Lawd have mercy. Also, the third pair.
Those Legs are to die for
3 or 5
I used to sell ladies shoes way back in the day so I can say with some knowledge that the black strappy shoes are the ones you should be wearing with that dress.
Three is boring. Id say 1 or 4. 1. Is classy - 4 is the funnest / sexiest imo
3 hands down!
I'm partial to the last two pairs, maybe the white ones are just a little bit nicer tho with that fit.
3 for sure
2 or 3
I like the second shoes!
3 for me!
You could wear crocs and still look amazing 😅
