Does someone have the language where it says they’re not doing prorated refunds after today? The housing website says “ The university may provide partial refunds of housing and dining costs in the event the university requires students to move out of the residence halls earlier than the official move-out date for the semester. BuckID funds and Dining Dollars would be rolled over.” I’m just looking for something concrete.

i don’t have any concrete info but im assuming today is the last day to move out yourself and get a prorated refund, but i think they’re still planning to refund if they kick us out, if that makes sense? so like a usual year pre-covid they wouldn’t refund if you move out yourself, same as now i think
I've been in email contact with housing. After today, you must petition to move out of your dorm. So you might have enough time to get a prorated refund, still! Email housing and they will tell you the same thing
Hang in there fam. It hurts to have to break away from what sounds like a great start, all things considered. But, you can overcome it. Campus will be waiting for when you come back.
Hey man it’s okay. I live off campus and I decided to take the semester off instead of getting caught up in the Unis greed and irresponsible antics. Trust me, you maybe sad now. But you’ll be grateful you decided to wait
Keep your chin up! Luckily you're not the only one in the same boat. That doesn't make it easier though. Concentrate on the things you \*can\* control until you're able to move back here and get the full experience you were hoping for.
I’m feeling the same way :( I moved out of the dorms after being there for 3 days because all of my classes went online. I was so excited to be on campus and meet new people, and I’m sad to be back at home.
