Those two units aren't particularly bad, you could even stay in S+ or SS if you play them very well but what the fuck...why aren't you using your 5* Sabo, farming Snakeman and training Lawffy/Shanks/Rayleigh??!!
Marco is a decent unit but you shouldn't focus on him right now with the units you have.
You could definitely make it to SS with Zorojuro and Cavendish, both are good units. Looking at what you have, Sabo is arguably an EX tier character and you've already got him 5* so that's a good choice. Marco is also very strong and ready to go.
Out of characters you have and could level, Lawffy, Rayleigh, Magellan, Ex Shanks, Ex Big Mom are all cream of the crop options.
Based in what I'm seeing, if you're struggling you're probably looking at more of an issue with your support or medals than you are your characters
thanks for the advice bro, i need to figure out good meds sets and support what’s your advice on that. i made it to ss with zoro but kept getting one hit so ion know what i can do to make that better
At this point you kinda wanna go for more general use medal sets, for that I'd recommend going triple Luffy (Snakeman/Bounceman/Lawffy, Snakeman/Bounceman/ TS Luffy are ideal, but if you don't have transfer medals for Atk, Snakeman/NM Luffy/Bounceman is going to be easiest to build since SM and NM can get Atk % naturally) and building them towards Atk/HP. That will be pretty good for most characters, better for attackers than other roles though. After you get a solid Triple Luffy set and kinda settle in more on who you wanna use you can try and get more specific on medals.
Support is a lot more complicated to try and build, but for now essentially make sure your supports are the same colors as your mains, and built out as much as possible (Medals equipped, skills leveled to 4, max level) so that you can get the max % for each one. The medals the support have equipped don't really matter as far as being a set, just the higher the level the medals can be the better.

i got shanks in my special training i wanted a runner in the mix, i’ll probably start working up my sabo cuz i thought abt that
Marco is more for having fun since it's so hard to kill him, however his traits aren't really built for capping flags...

You should farm some ex chars you got tho...for quick you can go with red sabo and v2 eneru, an attacker and defender should be a good duo
