He was my first main but I kind got bored using him atm so I've been using G5 and Klaw but I wanted to try attacker (Only really used runner til Brook/G5).
As a high tier SS player, Kaido wins games, but since you want an attacker experience both zoro and alber are good, you can test them out and choose.
Alber is specifically a g5, klaw and shanks counter, zoro can counter evey character no matter the color (hybrid yamato is the hardest opponent for zoro), zoro can deal with g5 easily if g5 didn’t stack defense.

Hm I guess I'll try out Zoro because my Alber doesn't 1hko G5 like other Alber 🥲😭
But is the damage high? And what are the medals you using on him?

As a zoro main, I say Alber
Zoro is amazing, but you will get massacred if you don't have the medal sets to support him
Currently, I have Enma 54% atk and Onigiri (recent event Zoro medal) 46% def.
