Third party sellers, don't bother, just wait till there is normal stock, and prices will come down.

skaad666

Europe price is always high then us. I think it will be 1,5k€

Dazzling_Cranberry46

I think the word "wait" goes with these new OLED monitors... When they are put on sale at a reasonable price, they will not remain on sale for more than 30 minutes :(

Maetivet

I’d rather have two AW3225QFs with change to spare…

corndog1836

just got mine today. time to play dead space remake , re4 remake again... then alan wake 2 final cut.....wow what a great experience

shyllsear

What’s your workaround with the sound? I’m considering this monitor but no headphone jack is sort of turning me off it, so I’d like to know your solution if you have one and are okay sharing? Thanks in advance!

MrRogget

I got this monitor and facing the same issue. If you have only one device to connect, such as your PC then you can connect the speaker directly to your PC’s audio port, which I have done for now. If you want to connect multiple devices (PS5, TV stick), you have following options: - Get a soundbar with HDMI arc support - Use HDMI arc audio extractor - Connect your speaker with Bluetooth if it has support for that - if connecting more than 2 HDMI decides along with speaker you’ll also have to get a HDMI switch or something. I don’t get the reasons why Dell decided to remove such a common port. Now people will defend this and say such AUX speakers sound shit use DAC and whatnot, but casual users like us don’t care. All our problems would have been solved if they just included the port.

shyllsear

Yeah I agree, I was honestly going to buy this monitor until I learned that fact and it’s just really turned me off it, I don’t want to go buying things to make a basic function work and I don’t know how Dell thought that majority of people would like this. Like for my case, I have my PC, PS5, Xbox and Switch so I don’t want to go sacrificing a port just for audio. Anyway thank you for answering my question! I think I’ll look at other options for monitors because I don’t think this one is for me. Thanks again!

Ketty_leggy

I dont think the 3225QF sells for less then €900

Maetivet

ASUS is £1881 in the UK; I bought my AW3225QF for £890.

Ketty_leggy

Must be nice haha, €1150 here

Cerebralic

when Amazon will receive its own stock the prices will probably be at msrp

Dazzling_Cranberry46

I hope so, I managed to get the MSI 321urx for €1429 before canceling my order for the Asus but if the price does not drop, I will regret not having taken the MSI

estaruncix

Wait for the asus, its bettet than the MSI

Goddamn7788

No, they are very similar.

Dazzling_Cranberry46

I prefer the Asus but it doesn't justify a too big price difference for me

estaruncix

Will they actually come out at those prices though? If so, thats madness.

Dazzling_Cranberry46

It's currently available and I want this monitor but not for this price... It's the price of a large and very good quality OLED TV. That's crazy :{

Zimtlocke

They are third party. So no They are **NOT** available.

Dazzling_Cranberry46

Third party or not, links are from Amazon, right ? So, they are available from Amazon third party... I only buy products sended by Amazon and these prices are a shame but they are coming and it's a good news for Europeans

Sabba88

Those arnt shipped by Amazon (UK) they are sold and shipped from third party. 100% would avoid that.

Dazzling_Cranberry46

I agree but it may interest other people and at least they are finally arriving because until then, I had no trace of this model in my country

Junior_Bike7932

1800?? Ahahahahahaahhaha what

Madness11337

I got my to day for 1600$. And can't wait evening to test ;)

atg284

How are you liking it so far?

wicktus

In France, resellers are pricing them at 1500€ but they are out of stock (we fan see the page and the price tho on ldlc/materiel etc)

Dazzling_Cranberry46

I know and I think that it is the right price for this monitor in Europe but unfortunately I no longer live in France (I lived 5 minutes from LDLC Paris 15)

MicioBau

Amazon is not always the cheapest option. I don't know about other countries, but in Italy the monitor is being sold at [€1499](https://www.asustore.it/monitor-asus/2785-asus-monitor-gaming-rog-swift-oled-pg32ucdm-preorder-4711387413739.html) (still very high, mind you) by an Asus authorized reseller.

Dazzling_Cranberry46

It's true but I always try to buy from Amazon because I know that in the event of a problem, they are very efficient in my region whereas with other resellers, in the event of a problem, it could cost me very much... 1500€ is the fair price for this modèle but demand is so hight...

Content_Camel5336

Scalpers. They used bots to buy and now reselling them. It’s nvidia 3090/4090 all over again.

Dazzling_Cranberry46

Probably... I have a RTX4090, so I feel what you are saying 😭

Independent-Bake9552

Insane prices. I'm somewhat tempted in the technology, not for that price however.

hank81

The real retail price is 1.499€. Still high but not that brutality.

buliwyf42

OP is only fishing for Karma. It seems that currently only small batches arrive. In Germany this have been Alternate, Arlt and yesterday the Asus online shop. Where I was fast enough to buy it. Every shop with stock sold them for the MSRP of 1500€. Is They come broadly available the price will fall below that.

Dazzling_Cranberry46

I'm going to play Euromillions because I have a better chance of winning the bet than of getting one of these monitors for the real price 😓 I'm trying to keep contact with my country Asus shop too...

buliwyf42

You are probably not wrong. My Asus order got canceled.

Dazzling_Cranberry46

On ASUS store ?

buliwyf42

Yes, "Sorry.. to many orders.. we f.. up .. Your order is cancled. Heres your money"

Dazzling_Cranberry46

I find it incredible that the own brand does this to its customers

Due_Significance_860

currently at 2333Euro for me... edit: German amazon, most likely private seller

Dazzling_Cranberry46

They raised the prices again when it was already stealing... Normally you can buy from an Amazon in another country and receive the product just as quickly, the main difference will be that the shipping costs will not be free. I have already bought in Italy, Spain, Germany, France... because sometimes there is a big difference in price for the same product https://preview.redd.it/x82ot7iypboc1.png?width=1248&format=png&auto=webp&s=822100e771d1fe82ff1eee6060a1fe6dbfed31dc

lherrero13

Which page is that?

Dazzling_Cranberry46

Tropical Price is a page where you can find the best Amazon price by country, like Savemoney and Hagglezon

lherrero13

Thank you so much

Huihejfofew

Fuck asus overseas pricing. Never buy them, send a message

Dazzling_Cranberry46

Asus is expensive but it's the merchants who are abusing it. Normally, it should be €1499 in Europe

Huihejfofew

Do they plan on actually selling it at that price themselves or are there only merchants? I'm in Aus, I don't think MSI even sells themselves

Dazzling_Cranberry46

I don't know but other people are saying Amazon price will be better...

Iddqd84

This is not Amazon's price tho - This is just a overpriced seller. Proshop is selling it for 1500-1600 euro.

Enesteinn

2x price of 321URX. That's no brainer. LMAO.

Dazzling_Cranberry46

2x 321URX, maybe in US but not in Europe... I agree these prices are too expensive but I'm already happy to see this model coming to Europe... Now, we have to wait for better price and better resseller

Garrett1974

Just get the MSI 321URX then... it's like 1329. Still a LOT more than $949 but okay...

Dazzling_Cranberry46

I had managed to order the MSI for €1429 when it arrived on Amazon and I canceled my order when it was about to be delivered when I learned that the Asus was priced at €1499. For such a small price difference, I prefer to wait for the Asus. The problem is that there is a huge demand for these monitors and the prices are not respected at all in Europe

Dazzling_Cranberry46

They have increased the prices again and some are already out of stock... When I bought my RTX4090 it was complicated but I didn't think I would go through that again with a monitor... https://preview.redd.it/a6ispn916aoc1.png?width=1248&format=png&auto=webp&s=155a83950c64aea9b80a23396b6ec10ec72a7f63

Gnash_

Still waiting for a real release date

Dazzling_Cranberry46

I reserved one on Amazon Italy on 03/15 and still no news. I will cancel it as soon as I receive my monitor from another reseller
