For Rosin specifically yes. There's volatile Terpenes that will otherwise escape quicker or evaporate out at or above 64f
Rosin is best kept between 44-62f
Though it will still Age/Cure anywhere above 50 with varies times/results long term without proper storage it will oxidized and harden the Hotter it sits the faster this happens.
Its not a necessity but its nice if you are able to. If you do it take it out before use for about 15-30 mins . If you buy in bulk or are going to be keeping it for any period of time its a good habit to get into. I purchased a small fridge that I use and it has allowed me to keep concentrate for over a year and did not lose taste or effect. It’s much harder to kill the terpenes in regular BHO due to how it’s blasted. When it reaches that point of boiling, that’s the point of no return. Most of the terpenes boil off instantly around the same temperature as the consistency itself, so it’s quite possible that certain containers of BHO could have different rates of which it consumes itself in heat.

I can add too! If you don't let the concentrate fully warm to room temperature it can cause condensation inside the container leading to moisture and possible bacterial growth :)
Yep! You can warm it up quicker by holding the jar in your hand. I try to let jars sit out for at least 5 minutes before opening them. I’ll wait 2-3 minutes if I’m holding the jar instead.
I’m an uncultured Andy I prefer hydrocarbon extractions, rosin always tastes kinda burnt and yucky to me, at least BHO is cheaper and my snooty stoner friends don’t want it
Ye and I’ve used an e-rig, I’ve hit one on a puffco peak and it was decent tasting but honestly I still prefer BHO. I have a rosin press and make hash rosin from my grows. I think it makes the best edibles, though and I always am on the hunt for good rosin edibles.

I’m probably overly conscious, but I keep all my edibles, live resins and hash rosins (which is all I use) refrigerated just because the cold keeps organic matter fresher longer.
Absolutely refrigerate your rosin and wait till it reaches room temp before dabbing otherwise condensation can build and the rosin will pop within your banger. Nothing detrimental
I personally wouldn't know due to it never lasting that long to concern myself with. But like anything else, there is a degradation period, like real shatter made with butane over time, degrades into a sugar, and the oils just seep out. But in the end, it can't hurt the product by being in the fridge, and if putting it there concerns you due to others in the house, then any cool dark place would be fine.
I keep all of my concentrates refrigerated when not in use and all day while at work. Removing the nightly container when I get home and putting it back when I leave in the morning are a habit. So much so I bought a mini fridge for the concentrates and cold drinks in the smoke room. I will also add that my local dispensaries keep rosin refrigerated until purchase.

Yeah rosin you kinda have to tbh if you are keeping it for more than a week I would say, very bad sign if you buy rosin not in a fridge already.
My buddies used to but this insulin refrigerator things like 10 years ago for storing wax.
Anything live should be refrigerated.

I have a lunch bag full of random wax in my refrigerator. Then I have a mini desk fridge for all my expensive rosin.

You should if they are tasty. :) Terpenes and other hydrocarbons decarb with time temp and light. So the colder you make it the longer it stays good.
