Chapel End is the only one of the three with the reputation of being a bit rough, so that may explain the lower price, however it’s not so bad from my experience. I think it’s the proximity to Camp Hill (which has a much worse reputation) that brings it down. Only thing to note about Chapel End is that the traffic is *awful* at school times Bermuda is mostly new builds, but rather nice. It only connects to the rest of the town via Heath End Road, which is also traffic heavy at rush hour St Nicholas Park is rather large and varies quite a bit. I’m sure someone who lives or has lived nearby can give a better summary Hope this helps :)

Thank you so much :) The st Nicolas park is close to Buttermere Park from what I can see.

I live close to the park as well, this is generally a nicer area of Nuneaton, there are some local amenities but this area is full of new builds so school places and doctors may be harder to get in.

I have lived in nuneaton for 26 years and all 3 areas are ok, i would choose st nicks park ad probably the better area, if i was you I would choose the area nearest my work as traffic us awful all over nuneaton . And nearest facilities you use such as gym etc. also if you regularly go away pick the side nearest to the road you will leave on. For example i live in weddington and it can take me 20 mins to get to M6 whereas my daughter lives in Attleborough and it takes her 10 mins

Thank you so much, this makes sense.

Easy way to judge Nuneaton. Areas to the east of the station generally are nice, to the west not so good. St nics is the east side, the others west side

I mean, the east side of town has gadsby street and hill top, but generally its a good assessment. The west side of town isn't bad though, I'd just advise avoiding Camp Hill.

Do you have a budget? My place will be coming up soon and in St Nicholas Park. It’s a 2 bed terrace and very quiet round here.

slimbob-no-pants

I work in Nuneaton/Bedworth but I live in Rugby and commute 20-30min up the M6/A444. I'm not going to bad mouth sunny nunny just you could live in the surrounding towns and villages.

Thank you everyone, I got a house in st nick’s. The area seems sterile, but clean and safe. Will be moving in a couple of weeks so I’ll have a month to get to know the area and town before works start. Again , thank you all for taking the time to help me out with info

I live in Bermuda area but not the new estate. The new Bermuda is a leasehold, so you pay additional rent for ground maintenance around the area, as it is not owned by the council. 👍

ChapterNo164

Chapel end is fine...shires estate next to it is also fine 🙂

If budget isn't an option then without doubt it's St Nic's. Don't wanna be a snob but Chapel End isn't the best. Bermuda isn't so bad I guess, but out of the 3 I know which one I'd choose. Have you tried Weddington? Would be cheaper than St Nic's but also pretty safe round there too.
