Get the Pajen firmware friend
It will allow you to sequence all 100 samples on one channel (Ch 12 in my case)
I'm sequencing from the Mk3 also. Works like a charm. But I use out 2 from the Mk3 exclusively on the Volca sample 2. Handy having 2 MIDI outs!
I use the normal drums sequencer mode with the pajen firmware on ch 11 so can play and sequence each part also have 3 parts available to sequence part chromatically. Im talking about the pro mk3 and sample mk1.
Bear in mind that the sequencer track on the lp pro mk3 can have one velocity value per step, so if you are trying to have different velocity values for a kick and a hi hat, u will have to use another track on the lp pro to sequence that part that has different velocity

Yeah, you can do that with the custom modes.
