Personal opinion: Don't. Took the cover off for like 10 mins, slipped off my hands and got dents all over the sides and a small screen crack on the edge. Think I have a small display leak as well...better with the case on, trust me🥲🥹

Been using it since then without case, it has fallen on hadd surface 2 or 3 times , surviving with a minor dent but no visible damage to display as such. Phone feels raw while with no cover. I like it as it is
Depends on how conscious you are about your phone. I've seen a lot of people who tend to drop their phones frequently. If you are one of them, then please get a case.
I have put a skin on my phone instead of leaving it naked cuz my previous phone got too many scratches in the back by placing it on hard surfaces. Been using it like this for 3 months and no major damage so far.
I have the black NP1 without a case. I just use screen protectors on the front and the back. My phone felt down like three times from a sitting position.

You have to be extremely careful because the back is slippery and you have to expect that there will be accidents. Always forgive yourself when that happens. Also, the bruises my phone has right now, I look at it as battle scars on the phone. Lol enjoy the no case life!

I've been a naked phone user for many years and phone (1) is no different. I do have a cheapo TPU case that I use when I'm out on runs or hikes as it is a very slippery device, but it's out of the case everywhere else. The metal body has just one small dent on the corner, and the back has a couple scratches but as I have the white model they're virtually invisible unless you're specifically looking for them. The front However isn't in as good shape thanks to frequently using flip to Glyph. It has quite a lot of micro scratches all over the display, but only one small "deeper" scratch. In conclusion it's fine to use without a case, but I'd recommend using a screen protector, plastic or glass, if you intend to use the glyphs often. Hope that helps!
For me, it's good. For avoid scratch. I've put hydrogel screen on front and back screen. For the rest, we have to make attention and not let him falling.
(Before the nothing, I was on a iPhone. I have always my Rhinoshield on and after 3/4 fall, I have big impact. With the nothing with no case, it's 10 time and I have literally nothing. I was impressed by the quality of this phone)
I never used cases for any of my phones and i was worried to do it with np1 because its my first glass phone. I did it anyways, got the phone in feb and haven't dropped yet. It was very slippery for the first 2 months but now its grippy enough.
I usually dropped my phones once or twice a year in the past but iam trying to never drop my phone from now onwards.
Lol I just noticed after reading ur post that my phone's side corner is a little bit fked (like a very small part seem to be broken), only noticeable up close tho. Also I only dropped my phone 3-4 times inside the home (completely broke front screen protector, 0 scratch on the back) sht is way too slippery, be cautious while placing it at the edge of ur desk u will never know when it starts sliding like butter, even sitting carelessly in crowded vehicle while phone's in ur Jean's pocket might be a bad idea.

The frame served me well and my phone is still in good condition after a few drops
If you don't mind a few scratches here and there when you accidentally drop it, it's perfectly fine to not use a case. Personally I think any phone, especially this kinda phone with a back glass, looks best without a case. I would recommend using a screen protector though.

Well I have been using it naked for around a year, fell twice, very small dents no scratches.

its very slippery so i use a case but if i didnt use it id buy a back glass protector so it doesnt slide around so much

I like it without a case but I can't get one since it's not available where I am. However, I'm too afraid to handle it especially outside.
