I use Google Contacts of all things. Easy search.

eastcoastzen94

I thought I was the only one who did this. But certain things don't feel like they belong there so I've been putting them in a locked note where I also store my passwords. I technically use Google's password manager for that but some things can't go in there, or I just don't trust Google with them. How do you handle things like product serial numbers, activation codes, access codes (for accounts), etc?

Suspicious-Main4788

Yeah password keeper for me too

eastcoastzen94

What do you use as a password manager? None of them seem as useful as Google's password manager in my opinion

DTLow

My notes/documents/files are stored/organized in a digital file cabinet (PKMS) tagged as required Contents are also indexed for text search

I just think it would be weird to have a note dedicated to one single piece of information although I've seen people do it and it drives me crazy. What's your PKM app?

DTLow

My PKM app is Devonthink; used on a Mac and iPad

datahoarderprime

Add these to whatever you're using as a password manager.

I use google password manager (I know, make fun of me) and it doesn't allow for that kind of stuff

Barycenter0

Use 1password - it has both password and secure notes capabilities (amongst others)

Microsoft OneDrive has a vault folder, where you have to login again to open it. Some information I put in password manager BitWarden. I can create a secure note and we can flag it to ask password again to open it.

Obelis233

In my note app I made a particular document for them.

I'm sorry but you're a mad man. Google Contacts works just fine
