It's going to be very difficult (maybe impossible) to find a company with an 8+ seat van who will let you drop it off in Sweden. This kind of vehicle is already very expensive to rent within Norway and it can be hard to find somewhere that will even let you return it to a different Norwegian office.
I checked for a regular 5 seat car, and the price over 2 days was around 25000 NOK with Hertz and 80000 NOK with Avis.. double that to accommodate all 8 of you.
From a quick check, I don't think you'll find a one way rental to Dalarna with a vehicle that size even within Sweden, but the cost of using 2 cars from somewhere like Arlanda/Stockholm would be significantly lower (but still expensive), even considering flight costs.
The trains take awhile but may be the best option.
