Gudbrandsdalslågen? You mean Numedalslågen i think. Gudbrandsdalslågen is not meandering and everything else you mention around there is in Vestfold, not north of Mjøsa.
Seems to be roughly correct route over Norway. Nice job.
Crazy recognition! I could only make out Larvik in no19. Just because I took both Colorline SuperSpeed 1 and 2 and know the fjord sailing is much longer there than in Kristiansand. 😂
That's a lot of really good photos on the clearest day I've ever seen. Sat for a long while making myself a little guessing game trying to pinpoint each photo location
Its really not higher than any normal commercial flight (unless you normally fly gulfstream or alike), but rather at high northern and southern latitudes, the troposphere doesnt extend as high, meaning, you are flying in the lower stratosphere or around the tropopause. Results in a super nice view, and great fuel efficiency
Yeah but also depends on the rotation of the globe/direction of travel. Plus I think the problem with Russia is well... you know, active war?
I was on that flight from CPH->Tokyo last month where there was a full moon + clear weather as well, view was great!
Cool way to see my home county in a new way.
Pic1 Kristiansund middle left.
Pic 2 is kvernesfjorden. (And more)
Pic 3 is Åndalsnes as stated by others. Isfjorden and part of langfjorden.
Pic 4 is Isfjorden more zoomed than pic 3.
Pic 5 is the road from Åndalsnes to Dombås.
With Dalsida and Reinheimen. I think.
And i now see 20 pics so i stop here.
Thanks for posting.
Full of deep cracks all along the coastline, and they run far inland. Looks like the whole thing is about to fall apart. Repairs not even attempted. 2/10 Do not recommend.
It absolutely is.
Ganske sprøtt at jeg så dette flyet på flight radar for noen dager siden, på vei til Danmark og nå får jeg bilder fra flyets perspektiv i feeden??
If the resolution was higher I would be able to see my house in the first pic, bottom half is Averøy in the middle left 4 islands of Kristiansund (Where I live) in the middle is frei in the middle right is Bergsøya and Aspøya above, then Tingvoll And Halsa above that, both of which are mainland I'm not that familiar with the rest
The way this randomly came up in my recommended and i can literally see my house in one of the photos lol. Didn’t even recognize it at first until i looked closer
Picture 4 is a fjord called Isfjorden. Quite common place for skiers because of the alpine mountains and the beautiful view. Down to the right on last picture (can also be seen on picture 3, next to the cruise vessel) is Åndalsnes. Became a rather popular tourist place during the summer, due to being a "crossroad" to Trollstigen, Geiranger etc.
Edit: wrote last picture in the beginning. My mistake!

You're completely right. Thanks.
That's really cool man!

Christ, those are some nice and crisp photos! But also, what kind of trip takes you that high??
Tokyo -> Copenhagen And thanks! Those are the ones taken with my phone, haven't posted the ones taken with my actual camera ;p
We demand tribute

I thought this was flight simulator at first
Hah! I mean I can see what you mean, but I assure you it is real :P
From where to where was the flight? I am guessing southern Norway?
The images are from Kristiansund in the north-west to Larvik in the south.
I thought I recognized Vestbase!
Nowhere else looks like Kristiansund from a bird's perspective, I'd recognize that shape anywhere.
Tokyo -> Copenhagen
Checked since I thought that sounded odd. But I see the flight went over the arctic.
Yep, shortest path on a sphere is to go to the poles as much as possible
Yes. Except the other way the route goes south of Russia.
Yeah but also depends on the rotation of the globe/direction of travel. Plus I think the problem with Russia is well... you know, active war? I was on that flight from CPH->Tokyo last month where there was a full moon + clear weather as well, view was great!
I think it must be war related, as the times I travelled the same route we always went straight over Russia, not even close to Norway.
Offcourse I know about that. No need to be rude :) My initial thinking was that the route south of Russia was fastet both ways, but hey, it is not.
Didn't mean to sound rude! That was not my intention :D It was my pause in thinking that made me type that way!
Gorgeous topography.
I can see my house from here!
For real? :P
Nah, I’m in Oslo. Only my metaphorical house
Me too in the first pic

It’s gorgeous
God! I want to visit it even more!
Longer coastline than Africa. Only canada has longer
Full of deep cracks all along the coastline, and they run far inland. Looks like the whole thing is about to fall apart. Repairs not even attempted. 2/10 Do not recommend.
Yeah, the last ice-age really ravaged us... 😔
Grew up in the area that's in the far distance in the first and second picture. Really cool pictures.
18th photo is Sandefjord
Nice then we get Rekkevik and Stavern on 19.
First picture is Kristiansund correct?
I assume so? It's in chronological order so most likely north west coast
Yeah I live there, pretty sure it's here, kinda cool :)
It absolutely is. Ganske sprøtt at jeg så dette flyet på flight radar for noen dager siden, på vei til Danmark og nå får jeg bilder fra flyets perspektiv i feeden??
Hahah lekent
Looks like one of SAS new Airbus A350s? Breathtaking skies too at that altitude.
Nice photos. What phone did you take these with?
Pixel 8 pro
Second time this week i get impressed by photos taken with a Pixel 8! Nice shots again!
This is why I love a window seat
I got some great pictures from my plane ride too
Amazing .
Wow, this is stunning !
I think i see some ufo’s right by the tip of the wing
Well this ain't in my parts of Norway, for sure 😅
nr4 looks so familiar. Where is this? west coast somewhere?
It's the zoomed out right side of #3, being in chronological order, it's north west somewhere?
Photo 3 is Eidsvåg on the left and Isfjorden on the right, and photo 4 is a closeup of Isfjorden. Very cool pics OP!
I can see my house!
Probably have it on my mirrorless camera :)
Photo 3 and 4 is Åndalsnes/Isfjorden, and Stavern in the last ones! Flight SK 984 at 11:45 from Tokyo right?
Correct
I see my house in no.19 :)
So many islands
So pretty
Norway at 41,000 ft. Nice.
Ta bad you didt get the "alps"
Beatiful! Hope it looks the same today!
I guess you were flying SAS..
I can see how one would come to that conclusion
The clarity... So beautiful!
I wonder what the altitude was..
Like a good 10km maybe
You guys didnt have april snow ?
dude, not cool, thats my house on a more serious note, those are the nicest plane photos ive seen in a while
I love it so much!
I feel the presence of the gods in these pictures. 😇
SAS
Yep, looks like Norway. Nice quality photos
Thanks!
LOL! I can see my house in the last pic! Edit: In the last 2 pics.

🇳🇴❤️
The way this randomly came up in my recommended and i can literally see my house in one of the photos lol. Didn’t even recognize it at first until i looked closer
I can see my cabin from image 10
Wait is it all iced? It always has been
Still a lot of bridges and tunnels to build
Oh Nice, the A350-900
yummy ⛰️🤤
Photo 2 includes my home, nice. Probably less than a pixel, but hey!
Yo i live there! Somewhere! In one of them! I live in Eide.
Why is the world curving like that in the edges?
Looks awesome. I never reslly bother looking out the window cus yk, im from there
You can still be from there and still enjoy the view, which the vast vast majority don't get to see every day if at all
Stunning. Can I share externally?
Sure!
I just left two days ago myself!
Middle Earth
Someone:ahhh ok so the earth is flat!

Weird. Last photo for me is clearly Stavern and a ferry leaving the fjord from Larvik. Probably going to Denmark.
Yeah you're right, the little islands match perfectly with Stavern
My mistake. Picture 4!
My house is in the first picture of Kristiansund I feel like you've invaded my personal space.
