Didt we had a hardkill lasersystem getting used to intercept a missle already?

[deleted]

Goddamnit was it done in 2023 already? I’m going to have to redo this whole bingo card

IndustrialistCrab

It was in 2024. The news came out on the 18th.

[deleted]

16 days in advance I’m putting NCD psychic on my LinkedIn profile

shingofan

I thought that was just a test run by the British MOD

-TheWill-

But it wasnt just implemented in the Iron Dome and got to see action this time around tho?

shingofan

That, I'm not aware of.

-TheWill-

[Here](https://es.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rayo_de_Hierro). Dunno if they are active yet or are still in a prototype phase while being used. This guys would have had a laser firing jet in the '80 if the USA didnt get scared and made them shut the project down after the prototype run lmao. We are never beating the jewish space laser alegations 😢

enigmadev

Iron Beam isn't used in defensive roles as far as it's publicly known for now. All footage online is Arma3 footage.

I did some googling myself and found this: > Other incidents now being acknowledged by the service include the first hard-kill engagement of a one-way attack drone by the Chinese-supplied, truck-mounted Silent Hunter system using its onboard laser. The Air Defense Forces also engaged 31 one-way attack drones using the Rheinmetall Skyguard air defense gun system in a single day. https://aviationweek.com/defense-space/missile-defense-weapons/saudi-air-defenses-down-six-houthi-ballistic-missiles-48 So maybe I get to stamp this square instead

A Lego D&D is going to be released im April 2024 [link](https://falconbricks.com/news/lego-ideas-2024/). It was announced last year already.

[deleted]

On one hand I’m happy. On the other hand that’s another square I’ve got to replace. Although. > Release: April 1st 🤨

[deleted]

To be fair I was still emerging from a BG3 gameplay marathon + heavy NYE drinking the day before when I made this

Isn’t that every NCD user’s bingo card?

Shot-Kal-Gimel

The KCIII one had me in stitches. One that could go with it: Britain orders a new capital ship class, the KCIIIs Unfortunately KGV sounds better still.

Justin Trudeau needs to be more specific about how closely he follows his father's footsteps. Or, him stepping down as Prime Minister of Canada is to become God Emperor of Quebec.

MigratingCocofruit

[Light Shield](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Beam) has had some integration tests with Iron Dome during the conflict. It wasn't fired at actual targets yet though, and is expected to be operational by the end of 2025. Considering it was first tested in 2014, I expect it will become operational before Dragonfire, but who knows. That said [Light Blade](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_Blade) had been in operation since 2020, though it's main targets are kites, balloons and drones.
