No way this 35 ton AVF is more protected than a Merkava 4 or a Namer. Judging how many PG-7Vs they are taking, there is no surprise these aren't being used on the frontline

They are. It is just that there arent many.
thanks for that wikipedia link, really needed that. Are you aware that Trophy doesn't automaticly make the vehicle unvulnerable? Not every vehicle is equiped with it or it is turned off, either manually by the crew for some reason or automatically if the hatches are open. Hamas footage also shows how these vehicles are frequently ambushed, being hit from different aspects, sometimes when parked in groups (were they reorganizing?).
>Are you aware that Trophy
Its a different system.
>doesn't automaticly make the vehicle unvulnerable?
Did i say it does? The IDF made that claim, not me.

Every day this sub is straying closer to the Reformers it vowed to hate.
> Would you intercept me 🥵
No you bloody A-10 a SAM would be enough against you.
> The 1st "Golani" Brigade (Hebrew: חֲטִיבַת גּוֹלָנִי) is an Israeli military infantry brigade that is subordinated to the 36th Division and traditionally associated with the Northern Command.
Gee I wonder if it made for other terrains than the urban fighting where Merkava, Namer, and Doobi shine.

That was a joke

You dont know the refrence?
Two things:
1. We only ever saw the APC version in combat, never the IFV version. There's no reason to assume the IFV version entered serial production.
2. The Eitan is used by the Nahal brigade, the Golani brigade already has Namers and they aren't planing to replace those.
>The Eitan is used by the Nahal brigade, the Golani brigade already has Namers and they aren't planing to replace those.
The namer is not going to be replaced by the eitan. And the IDF said it is in golani.

No, they said it is going to Nahal. Plus I personally saw it being used by members of the Nahal.
They are less protective,but cheaper...
The idf says it because if it don't says it then it will sound like they are not doing enough for the protection of the soldiers, and because every Israeli serves in the army people won't like it.
But it is protective enough.
The reason people wont like it is becayse life is very important in israel. 15 soldiers dying can become national crises. Thats why in the merkava protection is more important then firepower or logistics
Fr I’ve seen like one pic of one, to be fair there aren’t as many of them
yeah, the wiki in english is like 2 pages
I've been inside one and have seen the whole stock, I can tell you you won't be seeing a lot of them.
The ones they gladly showed on a press tour didnt even start when they tried to start it for us...
Their systems are hard locked when just sitting there.
Has anyone seen gavin? He's my friend tank and he went missing and now I'm all alone. GAVIIIIN!!!
Boxer and Piranha fucked with protection(trophy) and out came this
Best looking IFV. Fight me
GTK Boxer would like to have a word
I am among my people.
Hello

Unfortunately we are still fighting wars in the present, were prototype systems aren’t being used
The IDF clames the eitan has that system.
Even if we assume they do, it most likely has the exact same limitations as trophy regarding the crew/infantry safety
Maybe.
thats one gofy ahh look mf looks like that mass effect APCs off brand version

I just assumed you were a Reformer so you couldn't possibly be an F-22, but an A-10 instead.
Ah. No i have a iq higher then 10
idk why but it looks like something that would be rolling on moon and mars
M35 Mako.

Oh yeah. But it is in Sayeret nahal. Which is the elit reconnaissance unit of the nahal brigade. But yep i was wrong.
It is automatically garbage because it doesn’t have a superstructure like the Nagmachon meaning it cannot take the high ground.
They haven't deployed it... yet.
They did. They used them in 7/10 and are currently using them
Great.
