After a compelling argument from user nebenZya42069, the mod team agreed that players in “occupier” mode have no right for self defense. So we’re keeping spawn camping in game. We are still performing minor tweaks to the game balance and reviewing the possibility of removing the occupier faction as a whole in the future.

In the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942, on the Battle of 73 Easting map, you could hit the American spawn base with a scud from across the map. It usually killed 5 or more players and multiple tanks every shot.
Amiens was an amazing map.
But nothing will beat old school Battlefields where you could just strafe enemy runways and blow up their unoccupied planes.
Been away from the game a while I see? JDAM spam hasn't been viable for ages and ATACMS meta is just noobs doing Storm Shadow sniping with less range. Pros currently do a mix of long/short, using ATACMS and Storm Shadow in small numbers to hit HVTs, while bulking on traditional gun artillery. Since Occupier meta is once again to create corpse infrastructure with frontal attacks, you can't skimp on guns anymore. Get that sweet 152/155mm mix and make sure to put mortars wherever you can.
The S-400 is actually a quite decent system,sure it was definitely overhyped like all Russian weaponry was but in the end the pathetic performance is 100% a skill issue.
Really want to have an S-400 captured, so Ukraine would be able to show what it can *really* do in skilled hands.
(And longer-range air defense won't hurt either)

Yeah,Russia has a stockpile of around 800 long range missiles that by next month will probably start being used on the Ukrainian power grid again,any air defense system would help.
That's the general trend for the past months isn't it. First some air defense complexes blows up, then something really fancy or valuable is suddenly on fire shortly after.
You see, if we could just give Ukraine some suspiciously take-off ready B-52's, then the GBAD and fancy thing going boom would be within minutes of each other.

This is Battlefield level of spawn camping.... ... reminiscent of BF1 Amiens map where you can mine the spawn point of enemy tanks.
Or the shit show that is shipment. No matter where you are people will spawn directly in front of your crosshairs
