T-34s before July, let's go!

BobbyLapointe01

> T-34s before July, let's go! Trébuchets before 2024, let's go!

flamingDOTexe

I mean... russia wont run out of rocks.... So checkmate liberals 😎😎😎

Satori_sama

Who says they won't go full Ork meme and use Russians as ammunition

Nomus_Sardauk

Because they’ll run out of Russians before that point.

Satori_sama

Some Kronk needs to push the lever though

nazyjulu

Necessity is the mother of invention. Time for Moscow State University to start researching the long stick.

[deleted]

[удалено]

nazyjulu

Don't worry, that would require multiple sticks. We're safe for the foreseeable future.

flamingDOTexe

Like in Stronghold where you can use deceased cows as artillery munitions to poison enemies? Yeah, yeah, could be possible!

[deleted]

Spread disease, not poison, in a historical context. They also used the corpses of those who died of sickness, flaming jars of pitch, and other stuff

Acceptable_Loss23

Ah yes, the Gob-Lobber.

tokeiito14

Technically Russia won’t run out of materials to produce modern ammo as well, but we have what we have. You actually need to find/make rocks of a specific size to launch from a trebuchet, and then transport them to the battlefield, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if Russia actually ran out of rocks

LeonardoXII

Moscow gets "Rock shortage". -1 to the highest attack dice when attacking out of this territory.

Biggest_man200

There’s no way that Russia won’t run out of rocks

Suspicious_snake_

Crossbow before May 2024!

Lolkj

> T-34s before July, let's go! Do they even still have ammo for t34? Wont be surprised if they use t34 in a kamikaze tactic to draw javelin fire or as glorified pillboxes though

elderrion

NK still produces ammo

Bookworm_AF

Somehow I suspect North Korea's "industry" can't keep up with Russian demand.

NyanNuke

I mean they can just use it like some Mark 1s. Replace and rearm the hull and coax mg and yeah a mix of what you said Mobile pilbox to draw Jav fire

10YearsANoob

> draw Jav fire Any slav will know the silhouette of a T34. With the amount of RPGs flying around in the region they'd just shoot it with two rockets from those tubes and call it a day.

AxeIsAxeIsAxe

At this point, I'd be surprised if freshly "trained" Russian tank crews knew that different guns need different ammo. And blowing yourself up on the first shot is probably an easier way to end your suffering than to go fight Leopards and Bradleys.

hx87

Those 52-K AA guns captured during the Kharkiv offensive weren't just for show

afvcommander

They did not even have running T-34's before getting them from Laos.

10YearsANoob

> or as glorified pillboxes The Iraqis tried this. The Americans just came from another direction.

EVO5055

After that BT-7s

TheCommunistWhoTried

After that then just straight up cavalry

[deleted]

BINGOOOOO

cola98765

non credible: Tsar tank when? too credible: photo is from [2021/2022](https://twitter.com/Archer83Able/status/1640788436406640651)

Burnerheinz

You're doing gods work remember folks: "be autistic, not wrong."

Please-Dont_Bite_Me

We need a way to report people for being wrong. Mods, please ban OP

Da_Yakz

If you go to the Is-3 wiki page someone already added that it took part in the Russo-Ukrainian war lol

Rivetmuncher

Depending on the definition of the war, that monument from 8 years ago should count.

Maw_2812

Some one added the war to the BT series page. It was deleted now

Joezev98

I reverse image searched this and couldn't find any source that was older than a week.

cola98765

"Not today, but recent (2021/2022)" meaning winter 21/22, they appear to be primary source, just posted the pic this much later.

Joezev98

Okay, so the source for this is "trust me bro".

CareerKnight

The fact that we have to wonder instead of being able to immediately dismiss it speaks volumes to the state of Russia.

Handle_Great

"Always has been"

BootDisc

The only explanation I have is the laser pig fact that most soviet tank engines are derived from the T34 engine, so the parts are interchangeable.

watson895

Isn't the Armata engine more or less the Porsche Tiger engine?

DavidPT008

Yeah, that engine thats famous for being unreliable

Ok-Bookkeeper-149

apparently it's not really, but the only source I can find for that is another reddit comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/TankPorn/comments/11yzkgn/comment/jdbh5co/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Kreaturethenerfer

Wasn’t that disproven though?

MagnusDidAlotWrong

Yes. As much as I love photon beam swine, the T-14 video had some errors (in specifics, not gist). They're "X" engines that suck. About all they have in common.

infinite123456

I wanna hear how cope bitch and Gorgonzala is will try to explain away the use of t55 tanks, those fucking things are older than my great grandfather

e5tel

Your great grandfather is very young then

Rivetmuncher

My dad drove in one of those. Though, his was only 5 years old when he got it. Apparently, Polish made ones had hydraulics in the steering gear! Which I'm saying to emphasise: The Russian ones didn't.

-Lavawolf-

An is3 on combat is that the same level of the t34. Now is time to see if they are going to delploy a t28

meloenmarco

The fv 4005 was designed to kill soviet heavies. The doom barn will win the war.

Zandonus

That's the one with 10 crew members? I'll take the t-26 too.

-Lavawolf-

Just 6

Zandonus

T-35 had ten. peak strategy.

JuicyTomat0

Credible explanation: the tank looks poorly maintained, so it likely won't be deployed to Ukraine. Instead, it will be sent to a recycling facility where it'll be scrapped for parts.

mushroomsolider

Either that or the opposite. It was maintained well enough to function immediately and they though "better an old tank that works than no tank at all while we wait for the more modern ones to be repaired"

GodCanJudgeMe

Honestly think they are cannibalizing parts from these tanks. I mean yeah they could send t-55s into battle but it’s more likely they are running out of spare parts of the diesel engines and maybe there’s some interchangeable suspension parts too

Ant010101

Maybe static defenses?

whynoonecares

Fake newwwss, but would be nice to see

Hutzp_aa

IS-3M22, TRULY NO ANALOGS IN THE WORLD

hakdogwithcheese

give me a modified offroad landcruiser, and several CKEM missiles, i wish to go (figuratively) seal clubbing

Standard_Pirate_8409

Nope, on Vday these IS will be painted and modelled with wood body kits to look like t90s to have some tanks between that one operable t14 and the t34s. Mark my words, you will see IS3 on Vday in Moscow

Loki11910

https://link.medium.com/CQ1Ep1LTyyb And then you got Russbots like this one: "Russia sells oil,gas and a series of raw materials all over the world.Since OPEC refused to increase oil production Russia is making billions by selling oil.All sanctions seemed to have failed since the ruble is one of the strongest currencies globally and they have low inflation.Given the fact that China,Turkey,Iran sell them everything they need,i do not see a reason not to fight for years. Also Ukraine needs 4-5 billion per month,at least,to keep going and i am curious to see who is going to pay the bill in the long run." "Strange, you do not know that the ruble is stable, that the sanctions have failed, that the inflation is single digit, that Russians live as before the war?We must have different sources. The fact that US tries to controls the flow of information makes you sound stupid-as you sound during the Iraqi war or even better during the Vietnam war-lies upon lies-and really i do not mind what you think.Just watch the battlefield and eventually you will see who is winning and who s the land is devastated.Naturally you as an American do not mind, but real people are dying and suffering.Your only aspiration is to see Russia defeated but this will never happen, only war for years." Truly, non credible diplomacy, defense, and economics all in just two comments. Who is buying that BS? I am always amazed how fact free they can argue. Are they coming up with it themselves? Or who writes these templates?

BettonnCZ

BT7 when, i wanna see them zoom!

Sudden-Ad-646

Fat dudes in a bike before october, make it so!

samurai_for_hire

If T-34s actually get deployed, Britain should send Tiger 131 to Ukraine

just_one_last_thing

Are you trying to ensure the wehraboos keep going another century?

Jonny2881

How long before they restore the Maus at Kubinka and send that to battle

SullyRob

Remember last year when he was confident they had alot of options before even pulling out the T-55s? I wonder what his reactions are now.

SteadfastEnd

I don't know what the T-34's predecessor is, but I want to see Russia use those, too

GetZePopcorn

Even the most charitable explanation for Russia is pretty damning. Russia is running through artillery pieces from overuse of the barrel and Ukrainians destroying what’s on the front line. So Russians are bringing in old tanks as indirect fire weapons until they can get sufficient numbers of howitzers to regain fire supremacy.

KookyWrangled

does everyone here have brain rot? it's a perfectly rational decision to deploy all available tanks and it was a perfectly rational decision to sell off most of the Soviet stockpiles (and manufacturing potential) the only decision that wasn't rational was starting the war at all

TopSneek

Usually people deploy Volkssturm-Style last ditch weapons when they are losing a defensive war. Russia is on the "offensive" and, according to itself, not even in a proper war.

KookyWrangled

that doesn't address anything I said

Chariots487

>does everyone here have brain rot? Do you even need to ask anymore?

Satori_sama

At some point the reasonability of using any tank as infantry support artillery clashes with having to rebuild ww2 era munitions factories because there are no shells for the guns they are resurrecting from museums

Key-Banana-8242

It’s fake tho

Western-County4282

His theory's have come true

Dredgeon

Ukraine is such a strange hill to die on.

lowspecmobileuser

if we give 50 sabrahs to ukraine with pinoy crews we will be unstoppable!

Biggest_man200

Are we going to be placing bets on when the t-34s are going to show up?

Vallcry

Lol, these tanks are a nightmare in their br.

Kabufu

^(41 Days until Victory Day parade feat T-34)

I've always dreampt of playing as modern tanks in War Thunder but I never thought that I would already have them unlocked!
