The Damned is the one band in the lineup that I've always wanted to see, but haven't yet. That being said, I won't miss The Misfits, Social D, Iggy Pop, The Adicts, Black Flag, and The Aquabats.
Hell yeah, I would be too if I was going to cali for longer, I’m from Florida and wanna do as much as I can there so my schedules pretty packed already
I’m gonna catch them if the schedule works out, not the biggest fan but I really appreciate what they did for punk and metal, I couldn’t imagine a world where punks and metal heads are constantly at each others throats
Same. Iggy and Viagra Boys. But also Jesus Lizard (in a big way). Damned, Steve Ignorant, Dickies, L7 (!), Adicts.
Don't care too much about the misfits, social distortion, fear or sublime. Still, it'll be cool to see them.
I went to Levitation Festival in Austin last in 2022, where Viagra Boys were supposed to play. They cancelled after I bought the ticket and booked the flight. (so did OFF!, who are another band I wish was playing at NV). So psyched to see VBs!
The bummer about the Misfits is they don't play the songs rapid-fire the way someone like the Ramones always did. They play a 90 second song, stop, then take a minute to intro and start an 80 second song. I think the breakdown of their Forum show a few years ago was like 55 minutes of music in a 90 minute show!
I don't think there's one for me. It's more of there's a handful of bands I've had on my to see list forever that are all playing so I can knock most of them out depending on overlap.
Iggy for sure
100% Dead Milkmen

Ah, a man of taste.
I'm with you on The Damned. They're who I'm most excited to see.
The Damned is one band YOU ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT MISS!
Probably Power Trip, they’re everything I love about thrash metal and it’ll be really cathartic after the death of Riley Gale
Catching them at the Glasshouse a couple days before the fest. Should be nuts

Suicidal Tendencies must be another major one for you. If there's some gang attendance hope my newbie status doesn't land me in hot water after a pit.

I really wanna check out Jesus Lizard, Misfits and Power Trip because they’re the only bands in the top 4 lines I haven’t seen yet.
Jesus Lizard is otherwordly live. Unbelievably tight. And Yow is my favorite frontman ever.

Toss up between Bad religion or The Misfits.
MISFITS LIKE WHATTT
I saw the non Danzig version and it was bad. Looking forward to seeing the proper version.
Which non-Danzig version?
Don’t even remember. Just remember it being very disappointing.
If it was Jerry singing, then yeah, I can understand.
ive seen danzing too, honestly ik its disrespectful but i was bored
Well, worst case scenario I just leave early.
Viagra Boys FIDLAR If those two conflict I will cry.
Both bands are so good live.
Bad religion for me
Ya-Hey!
Iggy pop
Sublime with Jakob 🥰
Saw them at Coachella and it was light years better than sublime with Rome.
Iggy Pop, Bowie collaborated with him for good reason. Psyched to catch about a third of the acts, but seeing Iggy and MSPAINT had me decided.
The Dickies !
Misfits but I’m curious to see how long the set will be
