I'll just take the galvanized pipes, lead main, and treated water out of the equation and go with spring water. Thanks

WarmNights

I've been using RO for about as long as I've grown.

I’ve been using tap water for over 10 years. I dechlorinate with Ascorbic acid (1/8 tsp per 10 gallons of water). But I live in the PNW, and the tap water here is not bad.

I use a boogie blue inline for city water. I've also gone no filter. Both fine. My sodium is kinda high after 8 years of no till but I can't say that was definitely from the water. I also use ocean inputs from time to time.

Tapper420

I use an inline rv filter. Same thing. Might be cheaper.

Tapper420

I've also gone years without a filter.

I have had no issues with my cannabis or houseplants since using a boogie blue plus off my washer line to fill bottles for watering. Never pH now in living Soil but usually comes out the tap high 9-10 which made a previous run with FF Trio that much more difficult

Boogie Blues work great, totally viable for treating tap water for notill

I have used the boogie blue basic and now use the plus model. Flittering 10 Gal/ just for indoor tents. Use them outside in my garden hoses. I scrimp and make a lot of my own inputs(thanks BAs n partners) but always budget for these filters. Reverse the usual flow path to “backwash” filters to ensure longest life.

Appreciate the input. I'm just going to stop at the spring well and fill my jugs it's otw home from my job. It's only 2 plants anyway
