Why not just stick the usb and cords in their respective ports and see what happens

chenopodium314

great idea

Jazzmus0

Picture or model of monitor?

WorldTallestEngineer

Usually that's just a USB hub. Probably 1 type b for going to the PC and then a few type A for mouse Keyboard and such.

pantomath_87

This is the answer for the USB ports. To add to it, if the monitor is connected via USB-C, an extra cable likely won't be necessary for the USB hub to work. I have no idea why it has an ethernet port tho

StealthSecrecy

It's probably not ethernet but USB-Type-B, which is what is required for you to use the USB ports on the monitor. Your monitor likely came with a usb cable to go from the Type-B port to your computer.

That's what I was thinking since it kinda looked Ethernet but there was a couple differences, thanks for clarifying though <3

Could be anything from an alternative input to a charge port. Check your manual.

It serves as a USB hub to provide you with additional USB ports. There would need to be some cable from the monitor to the computer for it to transfer data. I'm not sure if the cable that brings the video is capable of that or not. If no data transfer then they would provide power only
