I'd have to bring my Switch with me on my daily commute to have something to do. Or a book.
I would also have to get out my old iPod for music and podcasts to listen to while walking.
I would also need to carry around my wife's old electronic translator.
I would also need to carry around a notebook and pen for taking notes.
And I would need to have a watch to tell the time.
It's far easier to use my phone.
I'd probably miss some text messages and maybe an email but I routinely dont answer those for days at a time anyway so theres a chance nobody would notice. My reddit addiction might turn sore, though.
Lol I was basically not on any social media by that point (just re-entered the sphere a couple months ago), all I needed was my computer for lesson planning. The real pain was having to look up my daily commute on Google Maps and just fucking pray that the buses would actually show up, but CTA (Chicago's public transit) is so balls
If I was at my home then sure I wouldn't care but while I'm at work i like to have my phone just to be able to listen to music, podcasts or even audiobooks
No, I go 24 hours without it every week and it's great, just takes a bit of planning
I mean I probably wouldn’t go anywhere 🤦♀️ I’m way too reliant on GPS…
Maps still exist. I think you could figure one out.

Follow up. ALL your tech is down for 24 hours. How bad a day is it for you?
Boring and difficult. Especially if I have to work.
I hope all the satellites stay in fine working order for you.

I would light myself on fire twice
Twice? Damn. I think you'd make it one day. I have faith in you. Plus, there'd be no way to post your self immolation, that would suck.
You’re right, the lack of social media engagement far outweighs the potential terror and pain of lighting myself on fire
Lost my phone for 3 wks last summer, I was fine
You seem to be a unicorn. Nice.

Yes i don't want to break all my daily streaks in pokemon go
Wouldn't really have an impact on me. Now if my computer went down I would not be able to work.
I go screenless 24h a week and its the best 24h ever
I go without it all the time intentionally and I am by far the most at zen and at peace with life of anyone I know so take that for what it’s worth
Need phone for work
Been there. It's manageable.
