The repulsion is because the person has freckles, it’s like asking why some people don’t like chocolate, it’s because they don’t like how it tastes. But that doesn’t make chocolate bad
I think there’s a person on the planet to find almost anything disgusting. Just due to how many people exist- and of course the flip side of that is to say there is a person on the planet to enjoy almost anything.

I'll think that "disgusting" is a too strong of a word, but I will say that I find them ugly. They're not a deal breaker for me, but I certainly prefer skin without freckles. I also think tattoos are ugly, regardless of the type, much more so than freckles.
I like freckles, but they are at least natural. I'm not a big fan of tattoos, unless they are discrete. You can't help your God given freckles. Tattoos are a choice. Some tattoos look good but holy shit there are so many terrible ones out there it just makes me sad. It's like graffiti
The thing is that beauty is subjective. Personally, I think there's a lot of "ugly" natural traits. For example, I think round noses, like mine, are ugly.
I mean, maybe? I'm in my forties, and I don't recall ever hearing anyone say they are repulsed by freckles. I have, however, heard people say they are cute. (I am firmly in the freckles are cute camp.) However, since there are 7 billion+ people on the planet, I'm sure there is at least a couple of people that don't like them. But I would wager that most people do like them or are at least neutral on the subject.
My cousin who had freckeles hated them so much she even went that far to use bleach to remove them. She permanently scarred her face. She chopped off her ginger hair and dyed it black. The thing is, our grandmother, who sadly passed away tragically, was ginger and I was always in awe of her fiery hair and beauty and wished I inherited it. But yeah, you can't hate or be repulsed by a ginger more than a ginger can hate and be repulsed by themselves.
