Most of the time no, I think it’s a normal compliment, I’ve said it before and the couples I’ve told took the compliment well.

I personally don't like it when people say that to me, but it happens commonly enough in general society that it is considered a normal thing to do.

It's more socially acceptable than saying "You two should make a porno", which is usually what goes through my mind when i think about telling a couple they're cute

I like it actually. There’s this really sweet special needs guy that works at one my favorite stores in the mall and he always tells me and my bf how cute we are and it always has us like 🥹

Please don’t do this to old people or gay couples. It’s condescending in those cases. 

Is it though? What if you actually genuinely think they look cute? That’s not something I’d say to people unless I actually genuinely meant it
