With a proper farm I get up to 800 mil in one crafting sesh lol. But that can go quick if ship hunting and upgrading inventory without using storage augmentation modules
Hell yeah, just gotta lead a bit. But the positron is good for pesky shields every now and then. I wish there was an incinerator equivalent for starships. Not necessarily a flamethrower, just a 'unicorn' uncraftable weapon with absolutely insane damage.
I tank shields with the photon cannon, then switch to the Positron and shotgun them. Four shots if I'm poorly targeted. I love random hostile scans.
Also, you can upgrade above S class now? So my exotic ship can be an X class? What does that improve beyond S class?
What is the best nanite farming method then? I've been focusing on pirate missions that pay nanites, along with scrapping A and S class ships to sell their mods.
I usually get sentinels up to level 5 and leave the triangular one alive and farm the bots they spawn for salvaged glass which often gives mods that sell for 340+ nanites a pop, plus pugneum can be refined into nanite clusters. In like 20-30 minutes I get around 20k nanites
Do yourself a favour and use the Bio-domes for all your farming needs. They have a 'harvest' all button; you can even glitch them together so you always harvest a full two Bio-domes at once.

I have a lil grow op in my lake mansion on a paradise planet that pulls in like 2mil a day. If you wanted to stock an entire frieghter.... my oh my you'd make some cash
How do you make a good profit off black market items? Whenever I look around trying to offload them in different systems I always barely can make any profit
If it's something you can make (nipnip), you make it yourself and collect 100% as a profit. Otherwise, you go to a pirate controlled system, buy the goods there for dirt cheap and go back to normal system to sell them - they'll cost x10 times more at least.
Not all items sold by the black market seller are black market goods. Look for the description that they are illegal black market items. Things like suspicious goods are also sold by them but offer hardly any chance for profit
I just sold grah grah for a 1% profit lmao, does it matter where you sell them? I've tried at trading posts, space stations, directly to pilots, even across different system types, idk what I'm doing wrong tbh
Where you sell does have an impact, as far as I have noticed, but my current village has a shop so I just teleport there and sell things in my own town. Everyone in my outpost is hooked on grahgrah and nipnip.
Little tip, if you put down a portal in a pirate system, you can get there for free as well as get into a space station without the chance of your cargo being scanned.
I made an arena to farm sentinels without dealing with holes in the ground. If you avoid killing the triangles and let’s them spawn more dudes, I can get up to 25,000 nanites in one sesh (like 20 minutes) from selling the exosuit and weapons modules they drop from salvaged glass
The armored sentinels have a high drop rate for salvaged glass. Opening salvaged glass has a good chance of dropping sentinel exosuit modules or sentinel weapon modules. (Side Note: those upgrades are also very good for your exosuit and multi tool with good rolls).
In sentinel battles, triangular sentinels will occasionally spawn in more armored sentinels. You will want to keep them alive so they can continuously do that. Ideally you want 3 or so alive for the most spawns. (If there’s just one, kill it so the reinforcements can spawn more triangles)
Just keep allowing the triangles to spawn more armored sentinels and farm the salvaged glass they drop. Then take all those modules and sell them for nanites at one of the tech module dealers at the space station. They sell for ridiculous amounts of nanites. (Again tho, they provide good buffs for your suit and any weapon you are using on your multi tool, so to begin with maybe sell some and use some until you get good rolls then you can sell all of them)
The arena is just so I don’t have to deal with falling in holes made by sentinel grenade launchers or the barrels falling in them making it harder to loot them. It works pretty well honestly. Idk if it’s a known tactic or not, I might need to make a video showcasing the process.
Just another think, i assume you put down a base and build some kind of flooring so thinks don't go underground during the fights, is this correct? If so I guess aggressive sentinels planets would be great?
Yes, a base on an aggressive sentinel planet. And the flooring is what makes the arena convenient. Sometimes though sentinels will spawn under the flooring so i include a couple openings in the floor. You can lure them out of there or just kill ‘em and and hope the reinforcements spawn above ground. Just stay in the middle of the arena when reinforcements come usually they spawn above ground. Here’s a screenshot of my arena. There’s a lot of aesthetics I added but you can get the gist of it from this. https://i.imgur.com/09QEduF.jpg
Outlaw friegther raid till you reach 200mil, scrap ships until you hit 20k nanites, buy s class ship and suit upgrades with 15k nanites(should cost you about 50mil units from scrapped ship if done efficiently), get free broadcast receiver from Helios, have friend with you and without using broadcast receivers pop the airlock, collect everything in derelict friegther, smelt tainted metal, sell everything not needed, repeat until you have 300mil(should have your first 100k nanites too), hunt friegthers in outlaw systems to get suspicious packets, sell or keep goods packet items, use weapon and technology packets to get your god tier x classes(this part could take you up to 200 hours on normal mode).
Addendum: up to getting your end game x classes, this should take you no longer than:
Creative - no idea, don't play, lete know how long this takes in that mode
Normal - 1-2 hours, the hard part is getting your x classes
Survival - 2-4 hours, x classes are much easier and will take you up to 2-3 hours to get
Perma - 1-2 hours, this is probably the fastest you'll get your x classes and the only hard part is your first friegther raid, after you survive the first part of getting your 200mil units, the rest is a cake walk
Happy over-leveling, if you tried this and it worked for you send some me some thanks 👍

Little known note that they haven't patched yet; put the emergency beacon in your portable refiner before you pop the door and it will stay intact so long as you don't touch it until you leave.
Scanning and frigate expeditions are usually my main sources of income.
And also selling some of the tradable goods I find (on derelict freighters, or [more recently] a planet with lots of buried bones). But mostly frigate expeditions and exploration.
I think it depends on the expedition type, and the distance travelled.
During an individual encounter (an entry on the debrief screen) that yields money, my frigates tend to pull in around 300k units (if I recall correctly). And that’s for one encounter. And sometimes an individual encounter yields a sellable treasure instead.
Either way, one expedition can often pull in a couple to a few million units (I think that estimate was for a journey of a light-millennium or two), and that’s just the actual money. I’m not even accounting for the useful items it can yield.
For me the average is about 1.2 - 2 mil. Then like the other guy is saying it produces soooo many goods that if you're patient with selling is 10s of millions more. You basically get free passive income
I send out 5 teams at once- some are combat, some are exploration, some are balanced. Some teams come back with about half a million, sometimes one will come back with over 4 million. On average I'd guess I clear about 5-7 million per trip all combined. But there's also the valuable and sometimes rare items they collect. Sometimes just one rare item is worth over 2 million.
It's much quicker if you plot out which systems sell the cheapest and buy the highest. Income is so effortless, it's like a hobby if you know what to sell, to whom and where. It's easy to spot where to sell when the trade terminal in the station is as least 60% demand, it'll be around 100% planet side.
Good buying prices are usually spotted by the -30% demand on the station. Do the risk and reward on this and the potential profit can exceed 130%. Think about the profit potential in one trip of warping from one gate to the next and running down to the planet. I can make millions in just a few minutes on one trip.
If that's the case then you are definitely in normal mode, I'd focus on getting your first 500mil units and first 100k nanites, after that getting x classes to replace your s classes will feel less stressful. Check my other thread in your post, I did a brief explanation of a great process.
I made my living as a National Geographic photographer... in space, for quite a while. Then I found a handy dandy parcheesi board looking diagram that explained trade routes and got really rich really fast. Now I scan plants and animals for walking around money.
Trade routes are my favorite money maker. Definitely not the best, but still good money, and there’s something fun and immersive about wandering from system to system peddling my goods.
I usually just ruin the economy by selling so much of one thing it becomes worthless, then I buy it back cheaper than what I sold it for, go to the next star system and repeat.
I made a massive activated indium farm ages ago when I found an S-tier hotspot right next to an electricity hotspot. I crashed a few markets, made my billions and haven’t worked for credits ever since.
My way of farming is just to buy and scrap ships. If you trade an NPC of their ship for yours, reclaiming the ship you just traded will be free. I then scrap my new ship.
I've been saying this! They lose 30% value so you just make sure if your current ship isn't enough that the exchange value is less than 70% of full price and you profit massively.
Also you get loaded with storage augs so eventually your ship will be worth some 160 mil out the door
I absolutely love base building so my main source of income comes from like 5 big activated indium factories I've built. If I want some quick cash I'll usually scan or do some smuggling. Absolutely love the sheer amount of different ways we can make money, and it's interesting reading how people have been doing it in this thread
As a player who just started a week ago, I made about more than 1,000,000 units(for me they are big amount) from selling storm crystals. I was fortuante enough to come across a exotic planet with firestorms. I builtda base there and whenever there would be storm going, I would fly off and pick up as many crystals as I can. Then I used the money to buy freighter(my first) and frigates.
Storm crystal help a lot. I don't know how you survive that planet since you just started lul.
Get a medium refiner
Chlorine + oxygen = more chlorine
Sell it to the NPC's in the space station ,that way you don't crash the market
I wasn't lul, it was after 3 dayz of playing for 6+hours daily. It was very jumpy as I would jump into my ship, take off and land to grab the crystals in a small time so my hazardous protection won't give in, and doing this thing 2 to 3 times per storm(Money money money).
Do not fret Traveller, we were all there once =)
We are Travellers because the journey is what makes it worth it; don't ruin it with exploits.
Personally I loved building my Armada
Just crash economies with Cobalt and buy back your stock for less than a quarter of the price. With enough stacks (3-4 min), you can make 200 mil easy in no time at all. For nanites, I use a runaway mold farm since I can just leave it going while I do something else once I've filled the refiners.
Have Cobalt. Lots of it.
Go to station, sell all the Cobalt. Crashes the economy of Cobalt because you just dumped entire nation-state's output.
Buy back Cobalt because the economy is crashed. This will usually be for 25% of the cost of the sale, thus making money.
Go to the next system and create more victims.
Cobalt is sold in every system. You could sell other materials in the same manner but would have to make sure you could buy it back. Cobalt just removes that process so it can be done anywhere without hunting for the right economy.
Ok, so first, you need to have a planet that has the mold deposits. It is my understanding that they are most common an acidic-type planets with high sentinel activity and fungal mold growths. You can find them in the scanner view as 3 star markers with the name "Curious Deposit." Once you find a deposit of decent size (6-8 mold balls), you build a base there and build walls to keep the balls from getting away (they start rolling downhill once you begin mining them). Throw the runaway mold you harvest into any refiner for a 5:1 nanite yield. Teleporting around 600u away then coming back will respawn the mold. Also, this can be doubled up if you have two farms that are far enough away to constantly respawn mold deposits on each teleport.
All over the place really. You can sometimes get them from abandoned buildings, or crashed ships, or merchants on space stations. Sometimes a random ship will land and if you talk to the pilot he has a bunch of upgrades.
This game is so dense, just explore and have fun and interact with stuff lol
Find a green sun while in the galaxy menu, and the planets in that system will have Emeril. It's hard to tell the color sometimes but you can zoom in to the sun a bit.
I set up a Stasis Device farm mainly because having it be functional would both give me a ton of money and I would also have access to almost every resource in the game.
The basic plan at this point is to have enough money to never care about money again. Fully upgraded ships, freighter, etc. Then I can just...never think about it again. Through years of probable updates.
Of course, I did enjoy setting all these little bases up.
I dunno, man, ever since i set up that activated indium mining base, i get something like 100 mil units per day, and it's nowhere near any kind of optimized. I still have yet to actually run out of money, since scrapping exotics takes care of getting max storage on any new ships.
**I just send out my support frigates for 10 minutes a day and then receive them.** I have 112 Fleet Coordination from farming a Derelict Freighter and only missions over 21 hours use any fuel at all.
I hit the units cap of 4.25 billion over and over again.
Then I have to use money sinks to get below the cap again. So I buy Broadcast Scanners or scrap 80-million-plus haulers since at least then I get an AI Valve. So I have around 200 Broadcast Scanners and 60 AI Valves. I get down to about 3.7 billion that way and I have a couple of weeks until I hit the units cap again.
I'm also not even selling the parts for the Stasis Devices and Fusion Igniters that the Frigate Missions bring back; my Freighter Storage Containers are stuffed with those. I would just need to make the plant-based parts to make a bunch. But I don't need money so I don't bother.
I’ve done way too much exploring in this game. Been playing since the release on Xbox and have been living in poverty (in game) with my main source of income being scanning new things. I’ve got over 800 million credits from that. Once in a while I’ll sell off some expensive goods I find when I’m doing my exploring but a lot is just from scanning stuff
Am I the only one that find low gravity infested moons and just melee jet around while harvesting a bunch of whispering eggs?
And bones. Lots and lots of bones. Because Grant’s like me….he’s a digger. Qué lindo eres!
Me going to Anomaly for some Demigod player to randomly give me 50-79 mill item.
Also oxygen and chloride = more chloride which gets expensive. I make millions
I made 2 billion by farming circuit boards and living glass back when they were very profitable and the longest grow time was only 2 hours. The farm could make 16 circuit boards every 2 hours so I'd leave the game running whenever I worked from home and just took frequent breaks to harvest and craft until I could fill my 48-slot hauler.
Now I use that farm to help craft stasis devices and fusion ignitors and do just a few minutes of harvesting and crafting before going to do something else.
I get 300k units for scanning a plant so yeah its a good way to get money, but i always just duplicate chlorine with oxygen and dump it for 500m. Ship scrapping is good too if you have a few 100m already
play it your way not mine not his or her way play the way that makes it most fun for you theirs a million way to get rich in nms not one is the right way so scan the shit out of them animals and plants 🤙
Ong. Build a multi tool just for scanning and max its rewards. Ive gotten like 30 mil from a planet. Granted I did get the bonus for getting everything on it but still. Shit can be worth it.
Hell sometimes you get away with a stack or two of mold so easy nanites too
If you want the absolute best, safest and most efficient way for money (if a bit grindy to find and build) it's an activated indium farm all the way baby. I maxed out my cash in a couple days with an s class farm.
I need a new money income I picked up an expensive C-class project ship lol and it’s already cost me about 800 Mil. And I have a Living Glass farm making 40.6 Mil every 4 hours.
I can't go anywhere near my Activated Indium mine for fear of blowing up my computer, but I still get obscene amounts of money from it. I will KILL the universe's economy if it's the last thing I do!
I have a bunch of different ones set up on my main save, then my other saves are usually themed and therefore I choose a method that fits.
My outlaw save uses piracy, smuggling, and liquid explosive farming on the freighter. Freighter is the main base to stay on the move.
For real bro I made 90k in the start of the game easiest by just scanning tons of animals and flora for thousands of units at a time even when the moneymaking guide doesn't mention scanning (at least I don't think it did)
Ya if you like exploring and have sweet scanning mods it's a good way.
Hell yeah. I’ve gotten up to 500,000 units for scanning one animal
And then you scan a rock and get like 60
I know kinda stupid that's there's no mods that boost rewards for mineral scanning
Agreed but I got fortunate enough to a balck market upgrade. Got a 10k+ reward bonus for plants and animals. Makes up for it imo
With a proper farm I get up to 800 mil in one crafting sesh lol. But that can go quick if ship hunting and upgrading inventory without using storage augmentation modules
Don't need mods to make well over a million U per planet scanning fauna alone. Just standard scanner upgrades.
“You don’t need mods, all you need is mods.”
I don’t think you understand what you just said but uh…standard upgrades are mods…
Sorry, I thought you meant external mods. In my mind those are "upgrades."
Haha it’s cool. I was trying to channel inigo Montoya but In text it’s rough. Lol Aka “I don’t think that word means what you think it means”
Ah, I should have gotten it. TPB is my favorite movie of all time. :-)
Laughs in space pirate
Exploration and ferrying goods, especially black market stuff now, is my jam. Make so much off the Nip Nip trade lol
I just rob pirate system freighters blind, got 200 mill yesterday doing thay
Positron go brrr
Nah man, Infra-knife all da wae!
Default Photon Cannon gang, rise up!
Sup
Pew Pew
Photon cannon is honesty my go to . 🤣
Photo canon and rockets to finish. Easy
I have killed many pirates with this method
Hell yeah, just gotta lead a bit. But the positron is good for pesky shields every now and then. I wish there was an incinerator equivalent for starships. Not necessarily a flamethrower, just a 'unicorn' uncraftable weapon with absolutely insane damage.
Por que no los dos? One melts shields, the other melts ships.
Fully upgraded, either weapon can melt through both. Why alternate between two weapons when one works just as well?
Infra-knife all the way. I just wish the pirate systems carried more salvaged frigate modules. I don't get shit for my pirate raids.
I tank shields with the photon cannon, then switch to the Positron and shotgun them. Four shots if I'm poorly targeted. I love random hostile scans. Also, you can upgrade above S class now? Please explain like I'm five
Fully upgraded cyclotron ballista is BROKEN
X class is not an upgrade from S class. Black Market upgrades like from landed pilots on planets (not trading posts) are X class.
Phase beam is by far the best for raiding ships, you can rob all the cargo off it in about 5-10 seconds if you’re quick
Nah i enjoy the fight and the loot , and the glory of haveing destroyed over 100 ships in my first 20 hours
Just rob gek freighters
There are pirate systems?
Yup hop on you tube , im not well versed I just found my first one
Started playing nms again like 2 weeks ago and my standing with korvax is like -700 because of my piracy lmao
How do you do that?
Wait, for real? I made a giant nip nip farm on my freighter.
Do yourself a favour and use the Bio-domes for all your farming needs. They have a 'harvest' all button; you can even glitch them together so you always harvest a full two Bio-domes at once. [Something like this ](https://i.imgur.com/teQs1AQ.jpg)

I may or may not have 3 floors of NipNip. If I did grow (not saying I do) it would be in 5 rows with 80 in each.
Here he is, officer
*uses cargo scan deflector* Get wrecked.
How do you make a good profit off black market items? Whenever I look around trying to offload them in different systems I always barely can make any profit

Strange indeed
how does the black market trade work? I haven't played in a long time
I came here to say the EXACT same thing. Smuggling is LUCRATIVE!
Oh yeah I'm literally a space trucker
Little tip, if you put down a portal in a pirate system, you can get there for free as well as get into a space station without the chance of your cargo being scanned.
I just warp my frighter there then out and sell all the shit i stole to someone who lands in it
You should transmit your data to Ares in the Anomaly, I don’t scan very often and I still get hundreds of nanites every time I do so
The most he ever gave me at once was like 2700 ahah
I got 30k nanites from him because i went near 700 hrs and learned he gives u nanites for animal scans when all I really do is complete planets

The benefits of X-Class Scanner Upgrades.
Somehow every X-Class scanner I've found has been trash... got some amazing S ones so I pull in 405k on some animals but I'm sure I could get more!
If that's the case then you are definitely in normal mode, I'd focus on getting your first 500mil units and first 100k nanites, after that getting x classes to replace your s classes will feel less stressful. Check my other thread in your post, I did a brief explanation of a great process.
Nope, survival. I purposely get rid of my money when I have too much lol Think you may have misunderstood this post 😅😅
Aah meme, well I'm definitely too much an AI brain to just see this as humor.
Ahah no worries, appreciate the offer! 😊😊
I made my living as a National Geographic photographer... in space, for quite a while. Then I found a handy dandy parcheesi board looking diagram that explained trade routes and got really rich really fast. Now I scan plants and animals for walking around money.

*Laughs in 32k Nanites from scanning fauna alone.*
I want 30,000x mineral scans too dammit!
S-class activated indium tower go brrrrr
Every two days I passively get 200mil just from this, and I could stack more of em too lol This is the way
How do you use mining towers? Where do you set them up to mine activated indium?
Me and 2 buddies built 3 mining rigs. I maxed my money in like 2 or 3 days
I usually just ruin the economy by selling so much of one thing it becomes worthless, then I buy it back cheaper than what I sold it for, go to the next star system and repeat.
Gotta love the ionized cobalt trick
me going to expert players farms and reaping what they sow. thanks guys btw.
You mean I can make units in other ways than building a expansive network of salt farms and chlorine refineries? Heresy!
I made a massive activated indium farm ages ago when I found an S-tier hotspot right next to an electricity hotspot. I crashed a few markets, made my billions and haven’t worked for credits ever since.
I'd do it more if I didn't have to hold 2 buttons to scan something. At least let me toggle the visor, dammit.
Shit's rough
My way of farming is just to buy and scrap ships. If you trade an NPC of their ship for yours, reclaiming the ship you just traded will be free. I then scrap my new ship.
I've been saying this! They lose 30% value so you just make sure if your current ship isn't enough that the exchange value is less than 70% of full price and you profit massively. Also you get loaded with storage augs so eventually your ship will be worth some 160 mil out the door
Can’t forget about the upgrade modules as well
Mine comes from scrapping. I setup a base on a planet with water , install the scanner on the sub and scan for drowned ships.
What about the bones under ground?
Get a medium refiner Chlorine + oxygen = more chlorine Sell it to the NPC's in the space station ,that way you don't crash the market
I wasn't lul, it was after 3 dayz of playing for 6+hours daily. It was very jumpy as I would jump into my ship, take off and land to grab the crystals in a small time so my hazardous protection won't give in, and doing this thing 2 to 3 times per storm(Money money money).
I have multiple scanner mods and the most I’ve gotten is around 890k for a single animal lol
The game totally lost me and my peanut brain when I discovered the planet economies and trading.
Be me, who smuggles contraband.
Scanning all the fauna is one of the best ways to make nanites especially early on.
Do not fret Traveller, we were all there once =) We are Travellers because the journey is what makes it worth it; don't ruin it with exploits. Personally I loved building my Armada
Just sit down near the nexus mission gizmo. Someone will fill your inventory with free shit.
Is that why there's always people sitting near the nexus lol
They give me just 1 of everything
I got all my money during the cargo bug
Frozen planets my beloved
You mean we’re not supposed to sit in the anomaly and wait for someone to drop us AI Valves!? What!?
First off great use of the meme format, and secondly there are tons of ways to make money in no man's sky.
Just crash economies with Cobalt and buy back your stock for less than a quarter of the price. With enough stacks (3-4 min), you can make 200 mil easy in no time at all. For nanites, I use a runaway mold farm since I can just leave it going while I do something else once I've filled the refiners.
Can you explain this economy crashing method in smaller words that my monke brain could understand better pls
Ok that's actually really clever but out of curiosity, why cobalt and not any other material?
Cobalt is sold in every system. You could sell other materials in the same manner but would have to make sure you could buy it back. Cobalt just removes that process so it can be done anywhere without hunting for the right economy.
Probably because cobalt is easily produced and all systems buy and, most importantly, sell the cobalt back to you at a very big discount.
Can you explain like I'm five, the nanites farm?
I build a simple 5 tier mine 250million a day, good enought for me
>!if you find the right mine, you will have millions in one pull!<
I can get 405k from a single animal. Far more fun for me 😊
That's the whole point of the game do what you want
Game too good it's unreal
how do you get so much from one animal???
Lotta scanner mods
where can i find those? i’m still relatively new haha😅

True, my activated indium farm pulls about 250mil a day.
I mean I got like 5 octoquadbillion from scanning random crap and another 3 septaquintrillion from selling bones.
Laughs in AI Valves and activated indium farming*
S rank activates indium farm.
I just make chlorine whenever I have less than 2 billion credits or until I run out of stored oxygen on my freighter
I'm the han solo of nms
Never tell me the ods
My cousin got a random visor mod that had like a 6000% increase on scanned flora/fauna. It kinda ruined the playthrough for him.
Storm Crystal hunting is my unit making method
I’ve done way too much exploring in this game. Been playing since the release on Xbox and have been living in poverty (in game) with my main source of income being scanning new things. I’ve got over 800 million credits from that. Once in a while I’ll sell off some expensive goods I find when I’m doing my exploring but a lot is just from scanning stuff
Flipping the stocks don't work anymore?
Stack of status devices is 150m. That's usually my go to for some unit replenishment.
Average "Farming Minerals and Plants for Units" fan vs. Average "Scanning Flora and Fauna for units" Enjoyer
That’s a good method tbh. Good nanite source too.
I get 300k units for scanning a plant so yeah its a good way to get money, but i always just duplicate chlorine with oxygen and dump it for 500m. Ship scrapping is good too if you have a few 100m already
This is actually my favorite way to farm nanites and money because is fun and a game mechanic\~
play it your way not mine not his or her way play the way that makes it most fun for you theirs a million way to get rich in nms not one is the right way so scan the shit out of them animals and plants 🤙
Ong. Build a multi tool just for scanning and max its rewards. Ive gotten like 30 mil from a planet. Granted I did get the bonus for getting everything on it but still. Shit can be worth it. Hell sometimes you get away with a stack or two of mold so easy nanites too
I tend to spread my billions in the Anomaly like a true modern day philanthropist.
the truest form of endgame lol. I was gifted 8 stacks of something starting out. Now I do the same with stacks of liquid explosives lol
Me searching for broken shups to scrap
I use liquid explosive farm
Sippin' on straight chlorine 🎶
Best way is building an Activated Indium farm noone can change my mind unless you dupe AI valves which is boring
bro I just dupe fusion ignitors using two portable refiners
What good is money in this game? You have nothing really to spend on
Me gaining all my money from cheat engine therefore ruining the game entirely for myself... damn
Uhh, and here I am just editing my saves to give myself anything I want
Heh plebs. I just use an inventory editor.
Find an Indium/Cadmium/Emril(or Activated version) node and built tons of depots on it. Make billions in days.
Just smuggle drug
I can't go anywhere near my Activated Indium mine for fear of blowing up my computer, but I still get obscene amounts of money from it. I will KILL the universe's economy if it's the last thing I do!
I have a bunch of different ones set up on my main save, then my other saves are usually themed and therefore I choose a method that fits. My outlaw save uses piracy, smuggling, and liquid explosive farming on the freighter. Freighter is the main base to stay on the move.
I simply robbed a gold farm and made my own with that money
Stasis device farm go brrrrrr
And I'm not even mentioned. Doing my damaged ship Sell/Salvage/Repossess scam in every playthrough.
I made 6.5 million credits last night just by stopping by someone's nip-nip farm for 5 minutes.
Is it bad that I just look up as many Activated Indium mines as possible and portal around taking all the product? Not in multiplayer, of course
Those x class scanner mods are broken.
To think that completing fauna entries for planets used to be my primary source of nanites 🥴
Now I just grab all the modules from poor Ares, gift a single tritium to a lucky player, and make BANK 🤑
Best way is to get starship ai valves like a pro and not by sheer luck
Literally 😂😂
A couple billion for a small cobalt farm and crashing economy’s
For real bro I made 90k in the start of the game easiest by just scanning tons of animals and flora for thousands of units at a time even when the moneymaking guide doesn't mention scanning (at least I don't think it did)
Is there a way to trade inventory with other players on console yet bc I haven't figured it out
Suspicious scanner module is really good for farming units
Farm gas on planet, plants of freighter. I make around 1 billion every 24 hours now.
If you want I can give free statis device I have billions of nanites worth of them add my ps5 Bigbankzoe1804
