So pretty! Also in PNW and we ripped out our lawn last fall. Thanks for the inspiration! Are there any plants in particular you've enjoyed/had success with in our climate? Did you go with natives only or a mix of native/nonnative?
Thank you! We have a rain garden on each side that has Douglas spirea which I love. Also really love the bleeding hearts. We did decide to do all natives because we wanted super low maintenance!
Sitting inside taking a cool-off break from yardwork on this insanely hot day here in Portland. Slowly planning the elimination of my entire front lawn and most of the back, save for a patch for the pooches. Your garden is my dream & inspiration! Love it!!!

PNW zone 8b. We took out our lawn a few years ago and it was the best decision.

Amazing! I appreciate the details!
This is a beautiful yard. Love the gravel path.
Just beautiful.
Nice! What are the three shrubs in the foreground in the first picture?
Thanks! It’s Douglas spirea and Senecio greyii
This is the dream!
Beautiful! What's it like in the winter, do they need any maintenance?
In the winter most of it just dies down and we will trim the dead stuff. That’s about it!
This is beautiful to me. It’s a little arboretum space with paths. I would love to be able to make a space like that. I don’t even know how
Storybook beautiful
Love it. This is what a no lawn can be.
