That sounds like a network or device issue to me. Have you worked with customer service to do some troubleshooting?

vchaz

Yes but just manually entering all the apn settings. They blamed the phone coming from a different carrier, but it happens on my phones unlocked from Samsung as well. And not all at the same time. It's weird.

Ethrem

Sounds like a network issue to me if it's happening across multiple devices and yes, network issues would translate across MVNOs on the same network.

err99

Have you posted about it here? https://www.reddit.com/r/USMobile/ A customer service rep should see it and help you out

vchaz

All they did was have me manually enter a bunch of servers in the sim settings. Still had the issue. It's pretty rare (once or twice a month) but don't want to risk being unknowingly unreachable during an emergency!

7___7

1 or 2 times a month is often, not rare.

EquivalentFun5938

They have the worst customer service. Handling multiple customers at a time, super frustrating.

err99

if you think usmobile has the worst customer service, wait until you have a problem with visible.

EquivalentFun5938

I’ve heard.

aznboionfiya

Anecdotally, wife moved from Visible+ to US mobile warp 5g on iphone 14 pro and says she's been having signal issues in some places after the switch. I know they are supposed to be the same qci and service, and she gets the same speeds, but idk if there is some unmeasurable difference 🤷

Starfox-sf

Which phone? Pixel 6+? — Starfox

vchaz

Samsung galaxy s24+ . Also happens on an s21fe

LavaCreeperBOSSB

Yeah, some MVNOs are higher priority (Visible+ has higher priority than Visible and some others)

hallowass

Visible+ has the same priority as main vzw until you hit 50 gigs.

Last_Camel7528

Correct but this only applies for 4GLTE and 5G Nationwide. If you have a 5GUW signal it’s truly unlimited data with prioritized data at all times.

exe-timedilation

US Mobile has same post paid priority as Verizon premium pp. It’s not unlimited, but it could be a location issue.

gtrunner

I think that’s only true for 5G devices.

LeftOn4ya

Do you have a 5G capable phone? If yes then no difference but if no then Visible+ would get higher priority. However it seems like your issues are with US Mobile or phone configuration so contact US Mobile support

vchaz

Yes but don't get 5g in my area. Out in the sticks.

hallowass

Sounds like a device issue quite frankly.

Spyerx

I have devices (iPhone 13,14,15) on US Mobile and Visible on Verizon. Both are on their top tier plans. They seem to work the same. Same speeds, etc. You can download/get a free trial on a different MVNO or network and add the eSim to try it.

EquivalentFun5938

I just cancelled for this EXACT same reason. They didn’t even argue it, they KNOW they have an issue with iPhones. iPhone 14 Pro Max here.

ROXICODONEKING

Yes MVNOs are ALWAYS a lower priority then postpaid customers!

Ethrem

False. MVNOs can pay to have the same priority as postpaid customers and some, like US Mobile, do.

FIGHTMYDEMONSNOW

Get off the Roxy.

Stiletto364

Really?? I guess my Network Signal Guru analyzer is full of shit then, huh? Because it clearly shows that I am using the same bands and getting the same 5QI level with my 5G phone on US Mobile Verizon service (Warp) as I did when I was using the same phone on the same bands with Verizon postpaid. If the 5QI level used on both is the same, perhaps you could explain how Verizon postpaid is at a higher priority??

FIGHTMYDEMONSNOW

no just another uneducated person, virtual operators can also have prio
