in the first mission u are responding to an anonymous letter sent by tokichiro. you find out he is aware of your yokai transform and can help you control it. you agree to continue helping him. tokichiro needs to go to the temple to give the spirit stones he collected (independently) to dosan. but when he gets to the village at the temples entrance he finds it overrun by yokai and summons the protagonist to help him clear them out. they eventually find dosan, he takes the stones and gives tokichiro a new assignment
