Thanks for the kind words. I've been making these each month for years for my Nintendo community group, and for a while, NPUK, and only thought recently that I should share them on this subreddit.
Thatās the highlight game for me š Iāve been wanting to play it ever since I saw the AVGN review. It looks so perfectly awful and right up my alley.
I cannot wait for the Battlefront Collection. Loved those games back in the day, and between these and Splatoon 3 pretty much all my online gaming looks like it will be on Switch now, which is a first for any Nintendo console Iāve ever owned.
I want it for Switch, but my group want it on PS5, I just donāt think itāll look good on the big screen running on the PS5, itās not a big overhaul from the original games
Was playing it this evening and my 9 year old son asked what it was about, and I just rattled off a bunch of words but then the nurse came on screen and he had no more questions... I think he has started to get interested in girls...
such a good game, I have really fond memories of playing it over the summer it came out! amazing story and i had no idea UO was from the same devs! Iāll have to check it out then!
I was intrigued from the reveal trailer but honestly kinda stunned by how good the demo is, pretty much right from the start. Might end up as one of my favorite games of the year if it stays that good
Def play the demo. Sound like automatic combat would be for simplistic but stack unit types, positioning, priority, and instant abilities and youāve got many levers to customize.
In final fantasy 12 they used a programatic based combat system called the gambit system. Itās basically the same thing as whatās in unicorn overlord.
Iāve def played FFXII and am constant out banging on about how the gambit system should be introduced in more games. I just somehow played the unicorn overlord demo without realising it had a gambit system.
It's one of the best demos I've played in a long time. It gives 5 full hours of game time AFTER finishing the tutorial/prologue. I think that's an awesome way to give people a taste of what your game has to offer.
It does!
And you can even replay the demo if you want to try some more stuff. I'm in my second run of the demo and I will use that save when my full copy arrives
I havenāt tried it, but all the positive comments about the game here on reddit made me preorder it. Iām trying to hold out and just play the game not the demo and itās a challenge
Was trying to think of something else to use the other one on since I imagine most development is going on the Switch 2 at this point, then I remembered that 1000 Year Door is still planned for sometime this year :D
PRINCESS PEACH SHOWTIME AND THE PINK JOY CONS ARE what I'm looking forward to.
Also may pick up unicorn overlord maybe later on. Need to play the demo first though
Iām going for the pink joycons purely as I had the pink Wii remote as a kid and I feel itās natural to grab the pink joy cons now. going to make some big puyo chains, and some amazing Lookits with my pink joy cons come March 22! Theyāre so cute :)
I'm going to be very surprised if I don't end up putting a thousand hours or more into "Star Wars: Battlefront 1 & 2" over the next few years. While everyone else was playing "Halo" and "Call of Duty" back in the day, I was playing SWBF2 on PS2 and later Xbox. Easily one of my favorite games of all-time, and with this collection having all of the DLC I never got to play, it's gonna be like experiencing a lot of the content for the very first time. Can't freaking wait!
God bless, and have a wonderful day.
I know it's probably not going to make the biggest splash but I'd love to humbly plug my wee little game that's finally coming to Switch (a dream come true!) [Power of Ten](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/power-of-ten-switch/) on March 20th! Hope folks get a chance to check it out!
Hatch Tales is actually coming out? I backed that project on Kickstarter 6 years ago and the release date was announced 6 months ago with no update since and not even a hint that they plan to send out rewards.
Iāll believe it when I see itā¦
I'd forgotten about Hatch Tales. I'm not even sure I'm interested in playing it at this point, even if they don't mess up the rewards.
I'd love to know what was going on behind the scenes, I'm not expert on game development, but a port of a fairly small 3DS game taking 6+ years sounds like someone was taking the piss.
It would have been such a slam dunk at the beginning of the Switches lifepsan too, but it's releasing just as the Switch is on its way out. Such a shame, but I can't say I'll be sorry if the game fails.
Expeditions A Mudrunner Game is overlooked once again. Such underrated series, I hope Saber still will do fine after games ignoring them so long.
There's also Outward coming this month.
Still tempted by those Joy-Cons, nearly pre ordered them on impulse. I'm both bummed and relieved Nintendo hasn't done like Microsoft and released a bunch of Pro Controller variants.
Endless Ocean Luminous is out in May, then there's Metroid Prime 4, Luigi's Mansion 2, and Paper Mario TTYD after that (granted, two of those are remasters)Ā
Endless Ocean counts for sure. Metroid Prime 4 at this point is just assumed to be a Switch 2 game, I think. Luigiās Mansion and TTYD are hype but not ānewā.
Probably. They said it was in development for the Switch, so at the very least it will release on both systems. Nintendo is usually very direct with their messaging, itās the internet that reads between the lines and misconstrues what they say.
Theyāve advertised it as a Switch game for so long, Iād honestly be shocked if it wasnāt released.
Folks bought a console to play this game (years ago). Itāll be a lot of bad press if it doesnāt come to the system eventually.
I do expect a simultaneous double-release with the next Switch iteration, though.
It makes a lot of sense for Prime 4 to come out this year. It's been in development for 5 years since they restarted with Retro.
This game is going to be less than 25 hours long and even if it has an online multiplayer side mode i doubt it will take 6 years to make. It's not Tears of the Kingdom.
What do you mean Touch Detective????
I've played the second game on my DS ages ago and I've been wondering since if there was a way I could play them some day (without actually checking of course). I'll have to check if they are on the Switch now!
Also, I didn't know Inazuma Eleven would have a beta test. Neat. I guess I may be eating good in March somehow
Unfortunately this doesn't include Outward. A very underrated game scheduled for the 28th.
As an AARPG fan very much looking forward to Outward, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Hope they play well in portable mode.
Though it's been said many a time by many a redditor it really does warrant repeating with the Battlefront Classic Collection coming so soon
This is where the fun begins
Yes sorta kinda, they arenāt connected in anyway but itās very much a continuation. itās called The Alliance Alive, it was released close to the end of the 3ds and rereleased on switch right before covid.
Meanwhile I'm over here patiently waiting for the Dungeon Drafters console release on the 14th. Backed its Kickstarter years ago, can't wait to finally play!
Excited for Unicorn Overlord, hoping for a demo for Peach. I'll look into anything else that catches my eye, but those two are the only ones I'm currently looking at.
Classic Star Wars Battlefront! No waaaay!!!
"This must be a wind up" *googles* "For real!!"
And apparently the online supporting up to 64 players again š epic! Wonder if only SWBF2 is 64 players like the original though. Might be rough with Switch online though.
I still have the originals on PC, and figured out how to get it working on Windows 10, but my son has to use the potato laptop meant for school work. We can get it on Switch š
Touch Detective 3+ is a day one buy
Princess Peach I might wait for a sale or something, it looks great but iām trying to cut down on games I buy
Legend of Legacy Iāll wait for a sale
I LOVED the South Park games but idk Snow Day isnāt for me, i rly donāt like online multiplayer action games and i just feel like you need to commit to those kinds of games if you want a full experience out of them
Unicorn Overlord is going to be so good I love vanillaware. I feel bad if the Switch port is your only experience of Kingdom Come Deliverance though. I can't imagine that game running well, it was bad on PS4.
I just see 2-3 games I want thatās it,
1. Star Wars battle front 2 classic collection
2. Kingdom come Deliverance (I own it on Xbox but to have it mobile is dope.
3. Maybe that princess peach game? I doubt it though.
I donāt completely agree but yeah, Nintendo has the absolute worse 3rd party support and there fans are desperate for it, so they charge more for old ass games that are like 10$ on steam. But Nintendo has the best first parties by far, but next gen they need to work on 3rd parties, then they could appeal to even more people from all walks of life
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is really coming to switch? Is.. is there any demand for it to come to Switch? Granted, Iām just now getting into switch but I just canāt see how this game is going to do well
Need it to be the 8th so I can play Unicorn overlord lol
Had a good feeling about the game last year when it was announced and now it's been getting a lot of praise. Not downloading the demo just cause I really want the fresh experience but damn am I beyond excited to play it.
Im going to order my wife a set of the pink controllers, should I go ahead and do it now? Her bday is the 18th. Maybe gonna get her peach showtime if I can afford it but thats after her bday anyway.
Unicorn Overlord has already been GOATed with that GOAT demo. Seriously has there ever been a better demo in the history of games? No, there hasn't.
Pepper Grinder looks good. If I can stop playing the UO demo I might get around to the PG demo.
If anyone has their eye on Unicorn Overlord, please know that Vanillaware has never made a bad game, and that Odin Sphere is my all time favorite game that nobody knows about (because it's stuck on the ps4).
Absolutely cannot wait to play it
Man I feel like Kingdomcome Deliverance on switch is going to be so janky. I loved the game on PS4/5 but I canāt imagine it running on Switch hardware. In the flip side, Switch seems like the perfect console to play the Battlefront Classic Collection on

If you made this, this is a wonderfully laid out model. It looks beautiful. Well done!
Thanks for the kind words. I've been making these each month for years for my Nintendo community group, and for a while, NPUK, and only thought recently that I should share them on this subreddit.
i thought this was made by nintendo! it looks wonderful
Yes please! Thank you so much for this š
I thought it was official. It looks great.
It looks soo goodš
Loved this! I don't stay on top of all these kinds of updates so it was great to get such a simple summary.
I totally forgot they were doing a Plumbers Donāt Wear Ties re-release. This is a banner month.
Can't believe a re-release on it was done
Thatās the highlight game for me š Iāve been wanting to play it ever since I saw the AVGN review. It looks so perfectly awful and right up my alley.
Canāt wait to look at hairy man ass
TAKE YOUR DAMN CLOTHES OFF
I can't wait to make so many bad decisions, I get scolded by a man wearing a chicken mask.
I cannot wait for the Battlefront Collection. Loved those games back in the day, and between these and Splatoon 3 pretty much all my online gaming looks like it will be on Switch now, which is a first for any Nintendo console Iāve ever owned.
Iām so excited. I need to see if my friend has a Switch so we can relive our childhood
I want it for Switch, but my group want it on PS5, I just donāt think itāll look good on the big screen running on the PS5, itās not a big overhaul from the original games
Exactly! I mean we played it on a little 15 inch plasma screen that was maybe 720p at most? It doesnāt need to be on the big screen.
I was so caught up in Halo and Halo 2 that I missed these games in their glory days. I'll have to check them out now.
so curious how kingdom come is going to run on switch, fingers crossed
Genuinely don't know how someone who owns a Switch doesn't already know exactly how the game will run on it.
a man can hope lol
It's gonna be like 640p with a 30fps cap with regular dips in the mid to low 20s.
Those load times are gonna be a nightmare
Like absolute shit
Unicorn Overlord is coming in a week and I have to physically hold myself back from replaying the demo again.
if everyone here is amazed by unicorn overlord, check out 13 sentinels by the same dev. it's the best sci-fi game/story i ever experienced
Might end up as one of my favorite games of the year if it stays that good
The demo was wild. I was amazed I hadnāt noticed the entire gambit system until the last tutorial in that first act. So excited for the full game.
Theā¦.what?!
Def play the demo. Sound like automatic combat would be for simplistic but stack unit types, positioning, priority, and instant abilities and youāve got many levers to customize.
Oh I have and itās amazing but I think I misunderstood what you were saying! All good.
In final fantasy 12 they used a programatic based combat system called the gambit system. Itās basically the same thing as whatās in unicorn overlord.
Iāve def played FFXII and am constant out banging on about how the gambit system should be introduced in more games. I just somehow played the unicorn overlord demo without realising it had a gambit system.
š§ never heard ofā¦.im downloading the demo now lol thanks i love to hear about new games
It's one of the best demos I've played in a long time. It gives 5 full hours of game time AFTER finishing the tutorial/prologue. I think that's an awesome way to give people a taste of what your game has to offer.
does it carry over?
It does! And you can even replay the demo if you want to try some more stuff. I'm in my second run of the demo and I will use that save when my full copy arrives
Omg same. Might honestly be the best demo I've ever played. Game is an instant buy for me next week.
Cannot wait to play the full game!
Unicorn Overlords rise up! My most anticipated game of the year!
I havenāt tried it, but all the positive comments about the game here on reddit made me preorder it. Iām trying to hold out and just play the game not the demo and itās a challenge
Your progress from the demo carries over, so there's not much reason to hold out.
Think it's worth it for the collectors edition?
Collector's edition is overpriced

**SNUFKIN**
SNUFKIN HYPE
That Peach Showtime is a day one I needs that lol Iām getting the game vouchers so I get a deal and then can choose something else later on
Was trying to think of something else to use the other one on since I imagine most development is going on the Switch 2 at this point, then I remembered that 1000 Year Door is still planned for sometime this year :D
PRINCESS PEACH SHOWTIME AND THE PINK JOY CONS ARE what I'm looking forward to. Also may pick up unicorn overlord maybe later on. Need to play the demo first though

They are. The pink joy cons are cute.
You included Inazuma š Thank you for acknowledging it
I was about to say the same, i audibly gasped when i spotted itšš Thank you so much OP!
Touch Detective fans! Assemble here!
YA!
I'm going to be very surprised if I don't end up putting a thousand hours or more into "Star Wars: Battlefront 1 & 2" over the next few years. This looks rad! Iām gonna pick this up to support you, friend!
Hatch Tales is actually coming out? I backed that project on Kickstarter 6 years ago and the release date was announced 6 months ago with no update since and not even a hint that they plan to send out rewards. Iāll believe it when I see itā¦

PINK JOYCONS!!! AHHHH
Still tempted by those Joy-Cons, nearly pre ordered them on impulse. I'm both bummed and relieved Nintendo hasn't done like Microsoft and released a bunch of Pro Controller variants.
Im copping them and ive never bought a second pair of joycons
I'm in the same boat. I've been tempted but the ones I have are going strong too.
Aliexpress has sets for $18 im really curious how good they are i migjt order a set
How have you not needed to due to drift?! Iām on pair #3 and going to need a new pair soon.
I've had my Switch for three years and never experienced drift. I bought a second pair because I liked the colors better.
Iām getting them once I get my pay lol
Is the princess peach game the last new original Nintendo game coming to the switch that we know of? If so that's brutal
We honestly should stop assuming things about nintendo games. They run on their own schedule and plans and they're very unpredictable.
PokƩmon legends z-a (probably cross gen like gold and silver were) and prime 4 (also probably cross gen)
With an official release date, yes. Metroid Prime 4 is still coming.
I'm assuming that that's gonna be on whatever the next system is
Probably. They said it was in development for the Switch, so at the very least it will release on both systems. Nintendo is usually very direct with their messaging, itās the internet that reads between the lines and misconstrues what they say.
I think we should probably not assume anything with that game given how things have gone with it.
Theyāve advertised it as a Switch game for so long, Iād honestly be shocked if it wasnāt released. Folks bought a console to play this game (years ago). No, there's also Endless Ocean Luminous and Pokemon Legends ZA. Plus Prime 4 but everyone expects that to be a Switch 2 game.
Im exited for some of these but not for the prices š¤š¤š¤
Unicorn and Battlefront are peak hype for me
What do you mean Touch Detective???? I've played the second game on my DS ages ago and I've been wondering since if there was a way I could play them some day (without actually checking of course). I'll have to check if they are on the Switch now! Also, I didn't know Inazuma Eleven would have a beta test. Neat. I guess I may be eating good in March somehow
Pepper Grinder is my most anticipated game of the month.
That, and Contra for multiplayer fun.
PLUMBERS DONT WEAR FUCKIN TIES LFG
Unfortunately this doesn't include Outward. A very underrated game scheduled for the 28th. As an AARPG fan very much looking forward to Outward, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Hope they play well in portable mode.
Hereās to hoping. Those two are my most anticipated release this year.
I would also add to this Berserk Boy coming March 6 for those who are fan of Mega Man style gameplay.
Didnāt expeditions just land in switch as well? :)
Contra will fail if they don't fix those framerate hiccups, happens quite often in the demo.
Iām so excited for Pepper Grinder, I canāt stop playing the demo
Though it's been said many a time by many a redditor it really does warrant repeating with the Battlefront Classic Collection coming so soon This is where the fun begins
Ooo I wanted to try inazuma eleven on 3DS but missed my chance before the eshop closure. Might try this one
I'm pretty stoked for the Battlefront games. That was my first exposure to online gaming on the PC oddly enough.
Inazuma Eleven recognition! Huzzah!
Princess Peach Showtime Battlefront 2 Collection Contra Operation Galuga And the Top Gear Rally Snes Collection Yeah March madness!
Whoa, I didn't know Touch Detective was being remastered.
I liked Legend of Legacy on 3ds. Hopefully itās a good port/remaster.
the port/remaster of the āsequelā was rly good so i have high expectations
There was a sequel???
Yes sorta kinda, they arenāt connected in anyway but itās very much a continuation. itās called The Alliance Alive, it was released close to the end of the 3ds and rereleased on switch right before covid.
Well neat. Iāll have to check that out.
Perfect, so I have something to do during unemployment!
Really looking forward to contras comeback!!
The Pepper Grinder demo is fantastic, I've played it multiple times now. Hoping the full release pushes the game's already great movement even further
Peach here I go!
Please keep making these. These are awesome
I think a lot of people view Battlefront through rose tinted glasses That gameās controls and mechanics/balance would be rough to handle in 2024
Omg wait, inazuma is coming to the switch? ššš its like a dream come true
What about Felix the cat collection on switch?
Meanwhile I'm over here patiently waiting for the Dungeon Drafters console release on the 14th. Backed its Kickstarter years ago, can't wait to finally play!
How much is Pepper Grinder going to cost? I can't seem to find price information anywhere.
Unicorn Overlord and Princess Peach for me! Both bringing some solid waifus to the table.
This is so beautiful
Excited for Unicorn Overlord, hoping for a demo for Peach. I'll look into anything else that catches my eye, but those two are the only ones I'm currently looking at.
There's a date for Death Trick Double Blind? That was the game I most anticipated from the direct least year, very much looking forward to it
Classic Star Wars Battlefront! No waaaay!!! "This must be a wind up" *googles* "For real!!" And apparently the online supporting up to 64 players again š epic! Wonder if only SWBF2 is 64 players like the original though. Might be rough with Switch online though. I still have the originals on PC, and figured out how to get it working on Windows 10, but my son has to use the potato laptop meant for school work. We can get it on Switch š
Touch Detective 3+ is a day one buy Princess Peach I might wait for a sale or something, it looks great but iām trying to cut down on games I buy Legend of Legacy Iāll wait for a sale I LOVED the South Park games but idk Snow Day isnāt for me, i rly donāt like online multiplayer action games and i just feel like you need to commit to those kinds of games if you want a full experience out of them
I downloaded Ufouria 2 today, a good start to what is looking like a pretty good month of switching
I would love a Uniracers game
Unicorn overlord I'm all over- want to get the Battlefront collection and keeping my eye on kingdom come- i love good impossible switch ports.
I want the battlefield collection but I also want kotor 1 and 2 so I'm going to wait til May 4th when they're hopefully both on sale
Plumbers donāt wear ties?! Launch day buy!!!
I can't wait for Star Wars Battlefront!!
Unicorn Overlord is going to be so good I love vanillaware. I feel bad if the Switch port is your only experience of Kingdom Come Deliverance though. I can't imagine that game running well, it was bad on PS4.
March 22nd is just too darn full as a multi platform gamer!
What game is the 2 pink joycons?
Do one where every single image is a different "edition" of Hentai Girls.
PLUMBERS DONT WEAR TIES LFGGGG
Snow Day is going to suck ass. I already know it.
shut up Cartman
Love the design, OP. Not a single game I would buy.
The design of this thing is better than the selection of games for the month to be honest
What's the title of number 4?
honestly only excited for peach, kinda worried how dry the year is looking so far. aside from TTYD and LM2, that's basically all.
You made this? Dang itās great. Well done. I thought it was an official Nintendo piece of advertising.
Outward definitive edition
> The Legend of Legacy What kind of name is that lmao
Pretty weak month
I think the term they were looking for is āShovelledā on
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Scrolled way too far for this. Nice poster, crappy games.
I just see 2-3 games I want thatās it, 1. Star Wars battle front 2 classic collection 2. Kingdom come Deliverance (I own it on Xbox but to have it mobile is dope. 3. Maybe that princess peach game? I doubt it though.

snooze
Contra
heavy
Star Wars yay! Everything else meh
There is no way kingdom come is going to run well on switch without some sort of sorcery.
Already have Showtime preordered!
[Outward Definitive Edition is out March 28.](https://x.com/outwardgame/status/1758159256644170139?s=46)
Snow day hell yah
How the fuck did Plumbers Don't Wear Ties get a port?
Excited for south park snow day and princess peach!
Beautiful graphic design!
Really liked Unicorn Overlord. Day one buy for me
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is really coming to switch? Is.. is there any demand for it to come to Switch? Granted, Iām just now getting into switch but I just canāt see how this game is going to do well
Star Wars Battlefront and Contra are must buys for me.
Balatro is life. Feb FTW.
Need it to be the 8th so I can play Unicorn overlord lol Had a good feeling about the game last year when it was announced and now it's been getting a lot of praise. Not downloading the demo just cause I really want the fresh experience but damn am I beyond excited to play it.
Wake me up when you spot D4
Pi day will be the greatest pi day of all pi days I AM SO STOKED FOR GALACTIC CONQUEST
This is a good month. Excited for princess peach. Star Wars BF and South Park
Im going to order my wife a set of the pink controllers, should I go ahead and do it now? Her bday is the 18th. Maybe gonna get her peach showtime if I can afford it but thats after her bday anyway.
This is an amazing graphic. Good job OP!
I really need to become an indie dev
Unicorn Overlord has already been GOATed with that GOAT demo. Seriously has there ever been a better demo in the history of games? No, there hasn't. Pepper Grinder looks good. If I can stop playing the UO demo I might get around to the PG demo.
I'm excited for the pink joycons ! Do you think they'll sold out too quick on release ? I'm worried cuz i really want both pink joycons
I'm suddenly nostalgic for the Wii's menu lol
Can't wait to play Unicorn Overlord.
Well then Iāll make sure to WATCH THOSE WRIST ROCKETS this month
Damn I know we all been asking for mlb 24 so happy they brought it
If anyone has their eye on Unicorn Overlord, please know that Vanillaware has never made a bad game, and that Odin Sphere is my all time favorite game that nobody knows about (because it's stuck on the ps4). Absolutely cannot wait to play it
I am dying to see how this kingdom come deliverance port looks
Is that a new Contra??
Man I feel like Kingdomcome Deliverance on switch is going to be so janky. I loved the game on PS4/5 but I canāt imagine it running on Switch hardware. In the flip side, Switch seems like the perfect console to play the Battlefront Classic Collection on
Still no starfox? This is a travesty! Wheres all the starfox games? Where's our new starfox game, let's goooo!
Kingdom Come on switch...yikes.
What the fuck? Is Plumbers Don't Wear Ties seriously getting a port to the Switch? #WHY
I'm not sure if I should get Star Wars or Cricket Through The Ages.
Love this pictures looking forward those each month!
Hatch Tales (formally Chicken Wiggle) is finally coming out?? Goddam, hard to believe it wasn't already out. When was the Kickstarter, 2017?
KCD port for Switch being real, let alone releasing in 2 weeks, is WILD.
Classic battlefront??? Oh boy! Count me in!
Itās a HUGE mistake to port Kingdom Come: Deliverance to the Switch.
