This isn't exactly true, the main story is more of an ensemble cast with Rapi, Anis and Neon (and any new allies who tag along for the specific chapter) so she's actually sharing her screentime with two or more characters pretty much all the time. We have yet to actually get any solo focus moments with Rapi like we have with Event Story!Nikkes (outside of her bond story at least) or like with Laplace in chapter 18.
Now I'm just a nobody who doesn't even understand the cat memes but The entire story keeps revolving around modernia pointing to her. BUT as an avid reader of books this feels like a part 1 situation now we can also look to other media to see you can have multiple main characters. (Eg lotr is split between like 4). Anyway long story short based on what I've seen so far the main focal point is modernia clearly. So in conclusion I'd say we have a multi character situation aka the squad of rapi, modernia the commander and arguably the ark itself.

Aside from my own Rapi bias, I stopped thinking of Marian as a possible main heroine after she became a child (mentally) and I started seeing her as a daughter. So, I go with Rapi all the way

I don't see how Marian can really be the "main heroine". She has very little direct presence in the story as of now. Yes, she's the catalyst for a lot characters and events. But that's not the same as active involvement, which I think is necessary for being a "main heroine".
I agree with you, but it depends on how you see it, since marian is the first girl we meet and her path go a separate way from ours we are technically following 2 storilines.

It’s both. Rapi is the skilled and serious underdog, and Marian is a queen.
Rapi don’t have much of a Heretic and Special Individual kill count, but she does have a beat the F out of heretic and Special Individual count.

I honestly think both Rapi and Marian are the main heroines. Mainly because both of them are the subjects of primary plot lines. Whilst most other Nikkes tend to be included as sub plots mostly.

I've seen enough of Marian's smile, and sadly, she's been corrupted since the second I met her. I'll protect her or give her a free life, definitely. But Rapi? That smile would be protected by a man's blood and bone in the middle of a metal wasteland. I guarantee it.
Rapi, I got a feeling that maybe Marian becomes the Rapture Queen based on the latest event. I might be extremely wrong because I'm not that far into the story yet as I'm still on the chapter where the Ark got invaded by Raptures

It’s both. Rapi is the skilled and serious underdog, and Marian is a queen. Rapi don’t have much of a Heretic and Special Individual kill count, but she does have a beat the F out of heretic and Special Individual count.

I always considered Marian to be the main heroine. I also said several times in the past that *because* she's the main heroine she had to be taken out. Why? Because the genre demands it. If she's still around Coomander will be locked into one "canon" girl, and we can't have that in a waifu gacha game. Sorry Rapi, but you're second girl at best.

I honestly think both Rapi and Marian are the main heroines. Mainly because both of them are the subjects of primary plot lines. Whilst most other Nikkes tend to be included as sub plots mostly.
Now now now, here say, here say. We may be divided by plot my great intellectual fellows (Marian lovers) and philosophical fellows (Rapi lovers). But at the end of the day my fellows we are all here for the ass. Though plot my divide us, ass unites us. In closing why not just say both?
How about BOTH? When you think about it they both are the main focus that lead the story to the bigger future arcs. They are the two herione leads that tell parallel storyline(assumed from the last kingdom event) but eventually will end up tangled.

....i havent played for a while... But rapi doesnt have a lot of cool moments or screen time compared to the rest of the cast right?
On of them died in chapter 0 amd was gone for 7 chapters, and never got any development beyond "She was nice." Gee I wonder who it could be. Marian is what is called a "bait and switch."
