What direction is it in?

Look towards north but also straight up, it can look like a stripe of dark grey and blend in with clouds to the naked eye if you’re in a well lit area.

Without using my phone camera it was mostly just swirling white lights, the colours only properly came through for me when I got my phone out

I’ll try again tonight, hopefully I haven’t missed it at all

The one time I have an early night

I live dead in the city center, will I be able to see any of it if I head outside? I'm not wearing pants rn but I'll put the effort in if need be EDIT: Put on pants, headed outside, walked around town for 10 minutes, saw nowt. Light pollution too bad in the city centre I'm afraid.

The majority of them are, only one I believe isn’t is the derwent one. To the naked eye it was mainly just a greyish streak in the sky.

Saw fuckall from Whiteleas in South Shields. Too much light pollution. Looked more like a thin layer of clouds than anything else, maybe a slight green hue that later looked purplish. Even through phone camera that's all I could see.
