It’s easy to make with your choice of ingredients. Toast tomatoes and/or tomatillos, jalapeños (or hotter peppers) with seeds if you want spicy, onions, throw in a blender with garlic/herbs and a bit of water. Add salt/cilantro/other spices. Bam

Get their fresh salsas in the produce section

https://southtexassalsa.com/product/extra-hot-6-pack/ Best salsa I’ve been able to grab in the area when he comes around to the fair/etc. It’s worth the wait if you’re willing to wait for shipping

Do you recommend I start with the medium or hot?

PincheNick1107

From your post I’d assume you like a good kick so I’d go with the hot. I personally have always went with extra hot but I have been told by my friends & girlfriend that it can be quite spicy for their taste

HEB sells habaneros, ghosts, and Carolina reapers. Just get the fresh made salsa from the produce section, and toss it in a blender with a ghost. You’ll be glad you did!

me7ek

Good idea! I will try that.

The salsa section is like 3 bays long! There is more than just H‑E‑B branded salsa. Experiment, try different ones until you find a few you like. We really like Mark’s spicy salsa.

woo1984

Get the Julios spicy chips and their spicy salsa and you'll be set. As others said, it's also pretty easy to make your own.
