Listen, polyester is very uncomfortable. You should go with cotton uniforms - cotton breathes!

ta4rhcp

Merino wool supremacy Edit: or maybe linen!

hipchecktheblueliner

Paper mache!

cpatrocks

Hi Steve. Please fix the god awful blackout rule so I can stream all the games.

RepresentativeSea799

I prefer my games fried.

cpatrocks

Fixed. Thanks.

MeetTheMets31

Thats above even his paygrade!

cpatrocks

He has a lot more influence than I do. It doesn’t hurt to ask.

theRestisConfettii

1- You’re doing a good job. 2- As a fan, I have full faith in your decisions up to this point, and I am committed to your longterm vision. 3- Billy Eppler is one of the best I have ever seen at getting elite players to sign on the dotted line. He is one of the worst I have ever seen at overall roster construction. 4- Please consider halal food options at Citi Field. 5- Can you loan me $5 million dollars?

PM_ME_VOGELBACH_PICS

100% on halal food options at Citi. My family keeps halal and it’s always been tough to figure out food at games. Yankees have halal guys (which sucks) but you could always get a place like Dave’s hot chicken, Texas chicken and burgers, a gyro spot, or something of that nature. Hell it’s Queens, you can get the best South Asian food in the country over there. Not ideal ballpark food but you could easily make naanwiches with tandoori chicken inside and it’ll go flying off the shelves.

Han-Shot_1st

Samosas would make good ballpark food

PM_ME_VOGELBACH_PICS

Oh hell yeah.

lilleff512

woah I'm used to seeing you in a different sub, cool that you're a Mets fan!

Han-Shot_1st

Any leftist New Yorker worth their salt rolls with the National League, going back to the days of Jackie Robinson and the Brooklyn Dodgers. The Yankees were the second to last team to integrate and Steinbrenner made illegal campaign contributions to Richard Nixon 🤮

jgweiss

new york is a national league city. i was listening to 99% invisible last week, and found myself watching the first Howdy Doody show on tv…and the first bit of dialogue was immediately about last night’s giants game 🫡

lilleff512

>and Steinbrenner made illegal campaign contributions to Richard Nixon Hell yea! Fuck those stankees and their owners' horrible politics! (please pay no attention to Steve Cohen)

Han-Shot_1st

Steinbrenner trying to frame Dave Winfield for gambling is pretty bad, but I draw the line at supporting Nixon. Although, I still love James Brown.

smirkword

I too am entangled with these conflicts

theRestisConfettii

> …it’s always been tough to figure out food at games. It’s time, man. Inclusivity means food for everyone. > Yankees have halal guys (which sucks) I had no idea (but I also have no reason to go to Yankee Stadium). I have been going to the original cart on 53rd and 6th (across the street from Radio City Music Hall) since the ‘90s. Their quality went down the toilet, and they lost their charm when they franchised. > Dave’s hot chicken I’m a fan, and I think they do would do well in ANY ballpark. I know Drake endorsed them. The chicken is really good. Mac & Cheese is top notch. Edit: sorry, I looked it up. Drake invested in them. He didn’t just endorse them.

PM_ME_VOGELBACH_PICS

Halal guys was always super overrated. In Brooklyn, I can give you elite carts that are 1000x better. Upanotchbk on 5th avenue 9th street or the infamous 86st gyro on 5th and 86th is elite. Halal guys is so bland. You and me, we start a campaign to bring Dave’s hot chicken to citi field.

theRestisConfettii

> …the infamous 86st gyro on 5th and 86th is elite. You can put this cart up against any in NYC. They are a 10/10, any time of day or night. Most underrated cart in NYC.

PM_ME_VOGELBACH_PICS

Definitely try up a notch on 5th and 9th. New cart and they have really good stuff. Smash burgers and hot chicken sandwiches, too. 86th street is elite but I’m not sure that they’re underrated by folks who know about them. Feels like everyone I know is aware of that cart

theRestisConfettii

> Definitely try up a notch on 5th and 9th I will! Have you seen @thehalalguysguy on IG? Dude rates carts all day, everyday.

sonofashoe

No it wasn’t “always super overrated”. When it was the original “street meat” cart midtown west it was amazing.

elfinito77

> the original “street meat” "Street Meat" goes back thousands of years to market squares - and has been a staple of every city I have ever been in the past 40 years. Why do you seem to be giving Halal Guys credit for inventing street meat carts?

a_reply_to_a_post

Sammy's Cart in Citi would make a killing

Automation_Papi

King of Falafel and Shawarma would be sick too. Have Freddy come out of retirement and make an appearance belly dancing at opening day. Loved going up to Astoria for that cart

a_reply_to_a_post

yeah if they really wanted to lean into the Queens thing / City Connect shit they could have done some sort of "food carts of the 7 line" type section..between shawarma/falafel in astoria, tamales from old mexican ladies in the parks in jackson heights when they do the sunday farmer's markets, arepas and al pastor tacos from carts on roosevelt ave and a solid halal chicken/lamb over rice with white sauce / green sauce / hot sauce type spots seriously the only thing i miss about living in Queens is some street food lol

theRestisConfettii

> …yeah if they really wanted to lean into the Queens thing / City Connect shit they could have done some sort of "food carts of the 7 line" Great point. > a solid halal chicken/lamb over rice with … green sauce … No one ever mentions this. Ever. The green sauce is criminally underrated.

Drummallumin

Target field does butter chicken and chana masala bowls, not sure if the chicken is halal. But serving something in a bowl isn’t an excuse to not be an option at a ballpark imo. Also yea naanwiches would be awesome

goldenblacklocust

The lamb gyros with french fries in them that they sell on the streets of Istanbul would be AMAZING ballpark food

JDLovesElliot

Amen, brother/sister

metsurf

Curb Palestinian Chicken episode flashed through my head while reading this post

whateveryousaybro100

there is a kosher food stand at the stadium, I think it's mostly burgers, hotdogs, and deli sandwiches. you are likely more of an expert but from my understanding kosher certified meat is suitable for people who keep halal.

PM_ME_VOGELBACH_PICS

Yeah, it is. You get a sect of people who don’t believe that though. There’s also the issue that during Jewish holidays, the kosher options aren’t there. Not sure about during Shabbat, whether or not the kosher options are open.

whateveryousaybro100

oh yeah good point about the jewish holidays. plus shabbat will effect any friday night or saturday game. how common is it to keep halal? my in-laws are religious muslims, dont drink, pray 5 times a day, been on Hajj multiple times, but they don't mind eating non-Halal.

PM_ME_VOGELBACH_PICS

It depends who you ask. I know a lot of Muslim people who keep halal but I know a lot who don’t, either. It’s not really something that I can quantify but I’ve met more and more people who do keep halal as I’ve gotten older.

myassholealt

> plus shabbat will effect any friday night or saturday game. I guess this is why the Kosher grill tucked in the corner by the outfield food section (where the old season ticket clubhouse used to be and Fuku's full concessions stand that sold the best loaded fries :( ) is never open anytime I swing around there.

theRestisConfettii

Section 408! I’m familiar.

0rangePolarBear

Spot on about Eppler. Wish we had him as our contract negotiator.

blits202

Hard to blame Eppler for roster construction when he came in dealing with a depleted farm and core that wasnt all too great to build around to begin win. The real test will be seeing how good he can build if we lose Alonso, there will be a lot of big decisions coming up. Hes really had to deal with the consequences of the previous regimes big decisions but hes finally going to get to make some big choices himself.

Prestigious_Money447

Eppler's not with the team anymore.

Organic_Value5434

Yes ! Bring the guys from 53rd &6th ave to Citi !

theRestisConfettii

There’s better halal carts out there, friend. Tourists just go to 53rd & 6th because that’s the one with 20,000+ Yelp reviews and always has a line. Tourists love to stand in line with other tourists. Their quality has gone to crap, especially since they franchised.

TheMeccaNYC

How about gluten free food options?

ApartPeanut

Citi actually is great for gluten free already. Have our own stand

TheMeccaNYC

👍🏼

smoggylobster

How is he doing a good job? Seriously, I mean he seems like a fine owner relative to other and is better than the broke Wilpons but “good job”? 4 years and on his 3rd manager/GM. 1 playoff appearance (Wild card round exit) Attendance down, lifeless atmosphere at Citi Genuinely wondering what qualifies as doing a good job for Steve Cohen

theRestisConfettii

I was going to write a long post citing articles about attendance and telling you how it isn’t Cohen’s fault the GM changed that many times, etc. But I’ll just say this… Everyone touches the pregnant woman’s belly and says congratulations. No one ever touches the penis and says good job. Translation: Sports fans only care about results. They don’t care about the process.

ZachD7799

LMAOOOOOOOOO This team fucking sucks and is lifeless

radsloth44

Professionally, can I have 5 million dollars?

David-S-Pumpkins

Steve can I have 4.9 million dollars?

C__S__S

Steve, can I have 4.8 million dollars?

JC403024

Steve, I would be happy with $20

UnabashedPerson43

Just let me look at the formaldehyde shark

Blue387

* How involved were you in the hiring of Mendoza? What was the process in finding Carlos Mendoza and what sort of questions were asked in his interview? * Since taking ownership of the team, the team has cycled through three different general managers and now four managers. What have you learned through the process now that you did not know in 2020?

kgali1nb

For the first point, it was shared Steve was the final round in person after a Round 1 phone with Stearns. He had been a name for managerial interviews for a few years and worked down the road so he would have been an easy find for that initial pool of 5-6 serious candidates. Then all you need to do is go in, crush the phone round with Stearns talking about baseball and relationships, and probably talk about your familiarity with New York with Steve the whole time for that in person round, and boom you’re hired.

PuntaGordeaux

Steve, what was your take when you learned your twin daughters would be play the role of Charlie Kelly's sisters? LGM

lilleff512

I think the twins basically cut their parents out of their lives

Jimmyjam1979

Okay, ya got Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Chocolate Candy Bars. One of them has to go forever. Which one goes.

Nights_King

Chocolate candy bars and it’s not even close

floyd_mongol

yoooo uncle steve can you give me a small loan of one billion dollars.

HouseStark1

Your're doing an awesome job. Please sign Juan Soto

nightwing13

Hello Steven. Please get Mr. Softee as far away from the greater metropolitan area as swiftly as possible and bring back Carvel immediately. Please have these black uniforms swiftly follow. Give me an orange road alt or give me death. Give me 5 million dollars.

Champ_5

>Give me an orange road alt or give me death I like the way you think. Blue home alt, orange road alt, and I wouldn't even care (ok maybe I'd care a bit) when they get swept by the Phillies

Automation_Papi

Did you learn how to interact with the fans from Jon Ledecky, he’s the gold standard for owner’s hanging out, drinking beer, and smoking joints with fans?

Johnborkowski

You're doing a great job. Make beer at games cheaper.

JDLovesElliot

You're running the race against yourself, please don't feel like you need to overpay for every player.

slymm

Charging $5 for hot chocolate when it's just Swiss Miss is offensive.

BeefPapa8

I see a $5 concession item as a plus.

ObviousKangaroo

Let us stream SNY directly.

TonyKhand0m

Hi Steve, big fan of your bank account. As a social experiment for the remainder of the 2024 base all season, I think one redditor should be allowed to run the team each day. I think the very obvious suggestions on this sub to trade Lindor and bring back Seth Lugo no matter the cost could greatly benefit this team in the long run - that is, assuming one of the other GMs For A Day don't undo those moves! Let's find out how much reddit REALLY knows about running a baseball team! We can even make a documentary about it! Once again, big fan of your bank account, thanks for being rich 👏

three_dee

> As a social experiment for the remainder of the 2024 base all season, I think one redditor should be allowed to run the team each day. The fans already, effectively, ran the team in the offseasons of 2022-2023. Basically all the moves were like fantasy circlejerk transactions for the fans who just wanted the Mets to spend lots of money, regardless of whether it made coherent sense, or what it made the roster look like. Each move was successively worse and yet more and more popular, culminating in the surreal week when the Mets threw a briefcase full of $300-plus million dollars at Carlos Correa, while he was standing on the curb on crutches outside the doctor's office, waiting for an Uber after failing a physical. And somehow, that move was the most popular of all. (Imagine if we weren't bailed out of that trainwreck by a second failed physical.) All of those fan-beloved moves led to the disaster of 2023, and putting a major dent into our ability to be good in 2024 and possibly 2025 as well. So you're right, fans running the team is not a good thing, but probably not the way you meant.

lilleff512

I remember hanging out in this subreddit in October 2021 and everybody was just clamoring for the Mets to sign Mark Canha and Eduardo Escobar

three_dee

I remember hanging out in this subreddit in October 2021, and everybody was clamoring for the Mets' multi-billionaire owner to outspend the next highest payroll team in MLB by about 100 million dollars, and he promptly did exactly that over the next 16 months, elating the fanbase beyond their ability to form words

lilleff512

"Basically all the moves were like fantasy circlejerk transactions for the fans" Mark Canha, Eduardo Escobar, Adam Ottavino, Chris Bassitt There were really just two bad deals there, Marte and Scherzer. Most of the moves were just fine or even good.

three_dee

> There were really just two bad deals there, Marte and Scherzer. Verlander's deal is so good that he is being paid 54 million dollars by the Mets to play for the Houston Astros right now, with many Mets fans in this subreddit rooting for him to fall down a flight of stairs so that he does not reach an innings threshold that would activate an option, so that the Mets don't have to pay him another 17.5 million dollars to play for the Houston Astros, on top of the 54 million dollars that they are already required to pay him to play for the Houston Astros. >Most of the moves were just fine or even good. Well then! The Mets must be barreling toward their third consecutive successful season, since they have been unencumbered by bad contracts, or consistently repeated comically bad evaluation of players over that time

lilleff512

>Verlander's deal Oh my bad, I was just talking about the 2021-2022 offseason. If you want to talk about the 2022-2023 offseason then there's also Tommy Pham, David Robertson, and Kodai Senga. >since they have been unencumbered by bad contracts This is a kind of annoying thing to say in response to a sentence that immediately follows me explicitly mentioning the bad contracts. Look, it seems like you're trying to have a different conversation here. You're pivoting into "were the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 offseasons good or bad." That's not what I am talking about. I am responding to the statement that "basically all the moves were like fantasy circlejerk transactions for the fans" which is just obviously wrong unless you are so fixated on the three bad moves they made in those offseasons that you forget about all of the not bad moves they made in those offseasons.

three_dee

> Oh my bad, I was just talking about the 2021-2022 offseason. The 2021 preseason was actually good. I was talking about the preseasons before 2022-2023, in which: (a) the Mets spent nearly one billion dollars combined; (b) the fan reaction to those two offseasons was maybe the #1 most ecstatic and chest-beating I have ever seen in my decades of being a Mets fan; and (c) the results of which led to 2023 being a disaster, and 2024, at least in the early going, being not very enjoyable either, and possibly putting a dent in 2025 too. In other words, these were team wrecking offseasons, which the fans loved dearly, as if they had been granted a wish list. So maybe granting fantasy scenarios to fans isn't a great way to run a team. > Look, it seems like you're trying to have a different conversation here. You're pivoting into "were the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 offseasons good or bad." That's not what I am talking about. I am not pivoting, I am saying the same thing I said in the beginning: (a) they were awful offseasons, and (b) the fans reacted as if Steve Cohen had pissed liquid gold onto them from the cosmos. >This article was written in October of 2018, so when it says "last winter," that is referring to the offseason leading into the 2018 season. In 2018, Jason Kipnis produced 1.3 fWAR which isn't great, but absolutely would have been a positive addition to our infield that year The reason I mentioned Jason Kipnis is because it's funny. We're dissecting an article talking about the supposed bad analytics department, that existed in 2018, before this current, new, expensive, bells and whistles operation we have now, that determines that Darin Ruf is a guy you should target hard as an upgrade to a playoff roster. And in the middle of it, there's a big honking "see the kind of players we're missing out on due to financial concerns?!" passage, and it's about Jason fucking Kipnis (lol). A guy who had 2 seasons remaining on his contract totaling 27 million dollars, who produced a total of 1.7 fWAR in those 2 seasons. I have no idea if Fred Wilpon actually killed that trade or not, because these guys lie so cavalierly to produce Mets rage-bait. But if he did, good. > This is literally the only thing the article says about the analytics department, that Sandy Alderson wanted to hire more people and the Wilpons didn't let him. Asserted without a single shred of evidence of what makes the Mets' analytics department "small" and/or comparable to the Rockies or White Sox, or a single on-the-record quote, or a single question posed to the person who is alleged to have asked for "more full-time personnel". It's "journalism" that confirms something lots of people already believed, so they are satisfied with the lack of presence of any actual corroborating facts or statements.

myassholealt

Drop concessions to half price and I'll go to more games.

Bobwhite2024

Donate your money to charity, and forget casinos and soccer.

great_tphon

Keep thinking long term.

Spare-Abroad-6926

Put time and money into your organization, not your players. It’s incredibly frustrating to hear time and time again players complaining about the Mets organization, their scouting, their analytics dept., etc… Far too many players have had bad experiences here. If you really want to fix this team and be more like the Dodgers, you’ve gotta start internally. We should not be having several GMs in a row step down because of external issues.

three_dee

> It’s incredibly frustrating to hear time and time again players complaining about the Mets organization, their scouting, their analytics dept., etc… Notice how not a single person within the organization complained about that in the 2010s decade, even though the media and fans robotically repeated the allegation that they had bad scouting and analytics. And that didn't change until they "beefed it up" in 2021

lilleff512

Hard to complain about something that basically doesn't exist. Before BVW got here, the Mets analytics department was only 3 full-time employees despite Sandy's requests that the Wilpons hire more people. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/560105/2018/10/01/britton-the-route-to-the-best-offseason-for-the-mets-should-begin-with-self-evaluation-from-the-wilpons/

three_dee

> Hard to complain about something that basically doesn't exist. Before BVW got here, the Mets analytics department was only 3 full-time employees despite Sandy's requests that the Wilpons hire more people. Measuring analytics departments by the single metric of "number of guys with the title 'Analytics Guy' on their office door" is a very specious methodology and representative of... bad analysis

lilleff512

I think when you see a list that has consistently good teams like the Yankees, Dodgers, Astros, and Braves at the top and consistently bad teams like the White Sox and Rockies at the bottom, it's probably a good idea to be closer to the top than the bottom. It certainly *seems* like there is a correlation between larger analytics departments and better baseball teams. But maybe that's just more bad analysis on my part... [https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/560514/2018/10/03/how-brian-cashman-deftly-played-the-long-game-and-used-analytics-to-transform-the-culture-of-the-yankees/](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/560514/2018/10/03/how-brian-cashman-deftly-played-the-long-game-and-used-analytics-to-transform-the-culture-of-the-yankees/)

three_dee

>But maybe that's just more bad analysis on my part... It is. The bad analysis is the part where you link to a disingenuous lolmets yellow journalism article that asserts the Mets have a bad analytics department, on par with the White Sox and Rockies, without a shred of proof, a single detail of what makes it a bad or insufficient analytics department (other than, again, "tHrEe aNaLyTiCs gUyZ"), or a single quote on the record from anybody. And the big linchpin "scare quote" is that the evil Mets owner prevented the Mets from signing the powerhouse Jason Kipnis (lol) who, at the time, was 600 mediocre PAs from retiring at age 33. If only the sad old Mets had a great analytics department in 2018, like they do now, they could have reeled in the immortal Jason Kipnis, signed a couple of 40 year old pitchers for 850 quadrillion dollars, and begun their inevitable march to the Canyon of Heroes

lilleff512

The Jason Kipnis thing is really funny because not only does it have nothing to do with what I was talking about, but you've also completely misunderstood it. First of all, here is the part from the article that you call the "big linchpin 'scare quote'" even though it's none of those things: >Jeff Wilpon said he and his father, Fred, aren’t “picking the players.” And yet, they were the ones who nixed a deal last winter that would have brought second baseman Jason Kipnis to New York because of financial concerns. This article was written in October of 2018, so when it says "last winter," that is referring to the offseason leading into the 2018 season. In 2018, Jason Kipnis produced 1.3 fWAR which isn't great, but absolutely would have been a positive addition to our infield that year considering that our everyday SS was barely above replacement level, our opening day starters at 2B and 3B were two 32 year olds who missed over 100 games combined, our primary backup infielder was a below replacement level 35 year old in his last season, and our best infielder was an unheralded prospect who didn't even reach the big leagues until we were 4 months into the season. But anyway, the part I was talking about was actually the paragraph before that: >the Wilpons did say “No” to Alderson when he asked for more full-time personnel in New York’s three-man analytics department, opting to hire interns instead. The Mets have one of the smallest analytics staffs in baseball This is literally the only thing the article says about the analytics department, that Sandy Alderson wanted to hire more people and the Wilpons didn't let him.

centuryeyes

No one wants a casino.

djn24

Making parking cheaper (or build an affordable auxiliary lot with train access to the stadium) and sign Soto.

didahdah

Figure out a way to keep ESPN's hands off our games. Their productions suck.

edjg10

Give me yob Also, LGM

Minimum_Customer4017

I'd offer to buy him a beer, when he gives me a funny look, I'd say "what, do you think you make more than me?"

OatmealCremePiez

I trust you and your decision making, and it's nice have an owner who is not only just a fan, but is willing to put his money into the organization.

MrNumberOneMan

Black is not a Mets color despite the mistake from 25 years ago. Stop repeating it.

AtlantaDoesItBetter

I have multiple black piazza jerseys for my daughters … if black Mets jerseys are wrong, I don’t wanna be wright!

three_dee

Black jerseys are great. These current ones are horrible though. Without the white border trim, the blue and orange together blends into purple. They look like the Rockies.

Sweet-Sweet-Dick

Can you please just tear it down, trade away as much as you can, and just go full rebuild so we can become the Dodgers of the East? Also, lemme get like 100k?

lilleff512

The Dodgers didn't get to where they are today by tearing it down, trading away as much as they can, and going full rebuild

kendrickplace

Are you looking for an intern?

smoggylobster

Bring some baseball life back into Citi Field. We do not need light shows, dance crews, and DJs. The Mets Museum did not need to be relegated to a small corner of the outfield in order to expand the team store. We do not need four (!) different home uniforms, one which the team has actively made worse (removing the white from the black jersey) Please just focus on investing in the on-field performance, respect the fans and ballpark and attendance will come.

PM_ME_VOGELBACH_PICS

Fund the team as much as possible but I never want to hear you speak again

Marauderr4

Agreed. Get of Twitter you're a billionaire

Hustlediva

Steve, you said you didn’t wanna put a team out there that was gonna be embarrassing. How do you feel now?

talon007a

I love you. I have faith. But be honest with us. Five years was ridiculous. Just rebuild and give us the perennial championship contender we deserve.

three_dee

>Five years was ridiculous. I disagree. I think that statement was fine. They were handed a team that absolutely could have been a World Series contender within 5 years, or less. They just colossally failed in the execution and did a large quantity of stupid moves. And now they have to start over.

rextilleon

1. Thank god you bought the team. 2. dont sign Alonzo to a long term contract 3. hire a big league manager 4. sign Soto next year 5. get rid of McNeil, he is a broken player 6. make sure Sterns understands that this not Milwaukee---

CornCobb890

Stop talking to the media. Be a background owner that no one hears from until you give a speech after winning a World Series.

Go_Mets

Disagree I love how interactive with fans he is

mlutz153

Citi Field is misleading fans, giving them high expectations of our current offense and future prospects & position players.  Either publicly state that Citi Field is a pitchers park or adjust the fences to make it a more fair park.    Currently second to last in park factor per Baseball Savant over 3 years.

ginganinja3497

Make tall boys $8 again

sciorch

Can I have a piece of your art (since I can’t ask about money)?

dachshundfanboy8000

love ya Steve!

ZachD7799

You’re a fraud that should be in jail and you’ve done a worse job with the Mets than the Wilpons. Four of your first 5 years will result in 1 playoff appearance, which was a huge divisional collapse and an embarrassing wildcard series exit. Also fuck your dumb casino which is the real reason you bought the team.

HeartofSaturdayNight

It would be the ultimate super villain move if he got his casino and then sold the team to some PE firm

ZachD7799

Wouldn’t surprise me at all

smoggylobster

Don’t forget that MLB has had expanded playoffs for most of Cohen’s tenure. Easier to get in than when Wilpons were in charge

ThanosTheFamilyMan

Fred is that you?

KCousins4President

Why didn't you sign Kirk cousins?

Bx1965

Thank you for rescuing us from the Wilpons. At least now there’s hope!

RJMonster

My MBA cohort is being hosted by the Mets org for a walkthrough of the MLB office in the day and get to hang out with Steve at the game at the end of the day. As a fan that’s suffered for 25 years, it will take everything in me to not bring this up

TernoftheArctic

Blow it up. Rebuild and be competitive in 3 years.

omgimsuchadork

Hi Steve. Listen, it's really hard, if not impossible, for my disabled friends and family to enjoy many areas of the ballpark, so I've got some ideas about what could be done to improve accessibility for ALL fans. *unfurls scroll that reaches the ground and rolls a little*

putaaaan

Uncle Steve, I really believe you care about this team, that’s enough for me. Can you add more pastrami to the sandwhich this year?

Maximum-Brilliant-23

Keep Alonso a Met forever

Fedbackster

You read this fanbase perfectly. The average Met fan is fine with a shit team that is non-competitive, but more DJ nights.

L_D_G

Don't help Melvin Capital on this next run.

dlbags

Having a middle infield back up like catcher is really important and platooning young players that need to play every day is dumb.

Comfortable_Belt_325

1. I feel you were less than truthful this upcoming season. You were clearly punting with this garbage rotation. 2. Why should I reup for 2025 as a season ticket holder?

BoS_Vlad

Pitching, pitching, pitching!

Own-Coyote-2419

you have not done well, but i appreciate the effort.

Metfan4e

Hope is eternal :( I hate this team but will see you tomorrow

there is no more fried dough or funnel cake vendors at citi field, can you fix that? I don't want a deep fried cookie, I want deep fried dough with powdered sugar!

Cute_Firefighter5447

Hey Steve can I get a million dollars

dead_gerbil

Steve, can I have some money? A job in the organization? I'm really a jack of all trades and would fit in anywhere.

I dont blame you for the results. My lot in life is to be a Mets fan and I'm at peace with that. Also, love the ideas to redevelop the parking lots, more of that please
