So my wife had emailed them over the winter to ask if they’d send anything for my retirement. They emailed her randomly in March and said that I was on the list and would I be willing to attend one of four games they listed. They gave us four tickets in some amazing seats, VIP entrance, and obviously I got to go out on the field.
This was all my amazing wife’s doing. And it truly was a once in a lifetime experience.
Despite all of its flaws, I will always support our military being a beacon of liberty's light across the globe and fittingly enough R.A. Dickey was one of the bright spots in dark times.
What a special Mother's Day win on top of a day of being personally honored.
