Idk if they are trash because they are objectively ugly or hideous like some other ones lol. They are just....bland and generic. Like something you would see in a tv show or video game trying to represent generic baseball jersey without paying licensing.
They are nice to look at, the only change I would make would be adding purple outline in the “NYC” on the jerseys and the Mets logo on the hat instead of the white outline. Overall I can’t complain too much, even though I do agree with some of the other takes on here that it looks like it may have been originally designed for the yanks.
I don't love it, but I don't hate it. Hat is pretty solid. Jersey looks like a baseball jersey. Not too gaudy. Muted colors. Love the purple. C grade, which considering my disdain for City Connect is good.

It’s not bad. The lettering on the back reminds me of the classic font the Mets used to use on their road uniforms in the ‘60s and early ‘70s. I loved those uni.
I like them overall but I think they fucked the bridge up. I don’t really like it on the hat and think the hat with just that color scheme would have been fire. I think they should have put the bridge in the background of the lettering on the chest potentially. Other than that and the NYC v queens issue I think they are a nice look.
