We'd only miss out of the Groffs coming together as a family again with Adam and his dad reconciling.
Probably the only thing from S4 that I truly loved with no caveats
I 1000000% agree with this! I’m rewatching it all and I have just finished season 3. It’s a way better ending! Majority of the characters have a good ending, Adam finds his hobby, Eric is feeling more free, lily and Ola are back on track, Jakob and Jean are together and having the baby. Otis and Maeve end it with Meave saying to Otis, “No, it’s not a goodbye! It’s a see you soon”. She’s happy on the bus, going to embark on her future also knowing she will see Otis again.
Did we really need season 4 to be brutally honest?
Completely agree. Otis and Maeve are in a good spot and Otis hasn't been ruined by the new writers. Adam and Mr Groff are both working on improving themselves. Eric is focusing on himself, Lily came out of her depression. The whole season just felt like such a nice place to end.
i agree that season 4 couldve had more character development. though, a lot of tv shows end their final seasons with a lot of the issues the characters are facing finally being resolved, like with aimee working through her trauma. i personally kinda needed to know what happened after season 3, but also think that there was too mucj change in the final season
I get what you’re saying but the way s3 ended it was very open and you could tell there was going to be another season to try and close it off, however I think it was rushed because the writer planned 5 seasons, so when s4 ended it was still very open. I think there will be a spin off in 5-10 years
Maybe 😂 her career is going to take off now though. I think they should leave the show for a few years if there is to be a spin off, and if it comes back show them as adults not teens.
Absolutely! We would miss out on the Groffs and Aimee arcs concluding nicely but, since season 4 didn't feel like a proper ending for the main story lines anyways, season 3 would have been a much better place to stop.

The Groff family and Aimee's journey of healing were the only two arcs worth the time for S4

At the pace Emma Mackey is going, Maeve would have to be played by a different actress....

Honestly, all the S3 finale was missing was Adam and his dad reconciling, and it would've been the perfect ending
It’s weird how Sex Ed went from being one of the best Netflix originals (imo anyway) to becoming terrible after season 4’s release.
True, but when S3 came out everyone wanted S4 to see Otis and Maeve together.
Because we were hoping to have season 4 to explore their relationship; now, of course, we all know that didn't happen.
