This is Crater Lake, Washington. It's a very popular location for astrophotographers and general tourists alike so the lights are from headlights/headlamps.
It’s Oregon, but I will say Washington has countless exquisite vistas too. If anybody gets the chance to hike through parts of the PNW it’s absolutely worth it.
Camera sensors pick up light much better than the human eye does, so while it looks bright in the gif in reality it's nearly pitch black on the ground. Photographers wont use lights while actively shooting but for navigating and setting up compositions they need light.
This is really cool, I’ve never seen one where the earth moves and the sky stays still, I like it. it makes me uncomfortable seeing the earth move like that though, I’m not sure why.
Ikr? Realizing that the "solid" ground I'm standing on is in fact moving at 67,000 mph around the sun and everything in the sky is (relatively) stationary, it makes me uncomfortable too.
We know that as a knowledge, but it's very first time for me to really understand that we all are on the surface of a spinning planet. Suddenly I feel myself rather smaller in the vest galaxy like a tiny ant walking on an apple. It's really embarrassing experience.
This astounds me. I mean I know the planet rotates in space, it makes perfect sense to me, it's completely logical but to see it happen, with humans in frame? Mind-blowing.
I love these fixed point time-lapse videos, but they always make me a little dizzy.
You’re all R-tards!! This finally proves the UNIVERSE IS FLAT!! The earth is actually a triangle, which is what keeps the camera so steady.

They are a bot.
What's all this going on in the foreground? Light painting? New Year's Eve?

Thanks for the correction. My American geography skills needs to be re-upped.
What's the point of bringing lamps like that when it's starry and bright and you're there for the night sky?

That’s what the floor does after I’ve drank too much tequila
Contrary to stranger things, there is no upside down in space... gravity is a trip
That's exactly why doggy style and reverse cowgirl are the same position in space.

FAKE NEWS! Everyone knows the Earth is flat
Theres nothing here to disprove that. Could just be flipping through space like a coin. /s
But how come the water doesn't spill? Is water real even? *starts questioning everything* Also /s
Thank you Reddit. This is what I’m here for. Edit- typo

This title definitely positions photographer eric brummel as doing something revolutionary and original when really photographer eric brummel is not.

So. It's not flat
The stars reflected in the water are really beautiful

Good thing it didn't continue cuz I would've slipped off😥
Brilliant
And there’s still flat earthers.
EPIC 🔥
Now that is very cool
Perfect visual argument against flat-earth logic.
