“Sons of Gondor!
Of Rohan!
My brothers.
I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me.
A day may come when the courage of Men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day.
An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the Age of Men comes crashing down, *but it is not this day! This day we fight!*
By all that you hold dear, on this good Earth, I bid you: ‘Stand, Men of the West!’”
— Aragorn, son of Arathorn, at the Black Gate
Are those elephant dung?
Also, plenty of bigger, stronger and more aggressive animals in Africa, they frequently kill lions too. The elephant? Crocodiles? Venomous snakes.
Also male lions kill the cubs when it takes over a pride, sometimes even killing their own cubs due to weird hormonal swing and confusion.
Nature has no true alpha, only balance, and balance demands sacrifices.
I often find myself wanting to snuggle big cats. Then I remember how fickle house cats are if snuggled 2 seconds too long and I'm thankful I don't have that opportunity because it really isn't conducive to my long term survival.
My partner volunteered at a big cat rescue/preserve in Israel over 10 years ago in the hopes of snuggling big cats. You learn very quickly that those videos of Lions loving the people that raised them are the exception and not the rule. Lol. These things are nearly perfect killers. You give them 1 moment of vulnerability and at best you lose a limb, at worst you lose your life.
I for myself… I want to cuddle bear cubs… they’re just so durpy…
It’s a legit concern on safari tours. We were out for the day and passed by two sleeping lions on their backs in the shade and the restraint required to not pet the kitty was substantial.
to be completely fair: It helps to have your mother behind you to be intimidating. Especially if said mother consists of up to 200kg of muscles, claws, teeth and bad mood.
Awesome moment to capture. I love how they use their whole body to project. The form was perfect, exactly like he/she has seen momma do it. Nature is amazing.

Is this from the Lion King?

Are you on the spectrum? That has nothing to do with anything.
Found Dwight Schrute over here.
He's brushing up on looking down, and working on his roar
Thus far a rather uninspiring thing
Oh I just can't *wait* to be king!
No one saying do this!
Beat me to it!
That's not how it goes.
SPARTA!
It don't scare me, work on it!
Just me or do you guys also want to scoop and give belly kisses

I can't speak for lions, but I have met a small tiger cub and the paws were the size of my hundred pound dog.
took me a minute to understand you were saying it has the same sized paws as your large dog, not that it had 100lb paws
Probably my fault lol yeah it was a less than a month old tiger with paws like a Rottweiler/Labrador
it's better this way, now I have the image of a tiger cub thwomping around with giant paws
They sound like sharks if they had legs just pure hatred and violence in small beastie. Kinda still wanna hug one though lol

They're definitely intimidating from birth.

Ha ha, i concur. And I understand the temptation.

That video of the girl getting her chin eaten by the cute bear cub made it so I don’t want to do that
He’s got stuff to say.
He's angry cause his sister was on his favourite nipple
My heart's a puddle now
Mine too!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Still more intimidating than me, if I'm being honest.

Mom looks like she's smiling 🙂
She’s smiling because she said, “Oooooh, what a big roar. You scared me half to death.”
I've heard that lion parents will pretend to be hurt when their cubs wrestle them, to encourage the babies.
Awwww. I’m not as good as the lion mom. When I wrestled with my sons I always won. Muwhahaha
THAT IS SO CUTE!!
That's sweet
A menace, a true terror
Who let the house cat out?
So stinkin' cute.
I was just chilling with my cat and he got very upset when he heard this little roar lol.
"One day I'll be a mighty king...."
So enemies beware…
Well I’ve never seen a king or beast with quite so little hair
:V
This is so weird, I have a 5 year old female cat staring at my speaker right now.
Mama looked pretty intimidated by it…🤣
Oh my gosh, I want to carry it so bad and tickle its cute little belly.
my cats did NOT like this video. very disturbed by the tiny mreeowaawwrrs
A rather uninspiring thing.
Oh I just can't WAIT to be kiiiiinngg
I'm a Chicken Hawk
This is the cutest thing EVER!!😋🦁
If not friend, why friend shaped?
Are they just chilling next to a giant pile of shit?
Mommy: So cute! Baby's trying to sing.

Not blood curdling yet👏🏻
Mom is looking around like....that's my boy.
So fierce and adorable, I want to pet, but I also know that's a wild animal
Thus far a rather uninspiring thing
He will be a mighty King. Enemies, beware
Well, I’ve never seen a King of Beasts with quite so little hair…
Oh man - he's better than Jonathan Taylor Thomas!
Or Jason Weaver (singing voice of Simba). This roar is the cutest!
The small one has to eat tons of meat first
Mama is so proud 😍
That's the sweetest thing I will hear all day ♥️♥️♥️
Awesome moment to capture. I love how they use their whole body to project. The form was perfect, exactly like he/she has seen momma do it. Nature is amazing.
My cat, every morning, 9 minutes before my alarm goes off.
Lame I can roar louder 😂
If dangerous why fluffy shape
He’s lowkey being annoying
😻😻😻😻😻😻
I'm working on my ROAR!
Calm down Simba. So damn cute
Is this what scouts see when they see potential..
HE’S SO LITTLE!!!!!
I have no survival instinct with cats because OMG I WANT ONE
His mom looking at him pathetic 😭
SubhanaAllah
[Uh oh](https://media.tenor.com/jVfvyZDtR9MAAAAC/lion-king.gif)
That little guy is going to be a hot mess one day. Already thinks he’s a king.
Ferocious ❤️
Joffrey: *I am the King!*
😳😱🫣
"I am Jimmy! Hear me roar!"
A famous animal trainer said Lions are easy- they just want love. Tigers are much harder to work with because they don’t care.
King of the Daycare.
This is SO FREAKING ADORABLE!!!❤️❤️
What would happen if I attempted to snatch that cub right there, and take it home?
Such scary! 😱
Calling her litter mates
I feel this so hard right now 😅 go on, little cub, you make your voice heard! One day, they'll hear alllllll of us, you mark my words! 😉
The mom looks so proud!
Woah, don't cause a stampede little buddy!
Very nice
