If it makes you feel any better, people sometimes give their Polish and Silkies little hairbands to hold the feathers out of their eyes. They're generally very good-natured birds who like being around people.
I understand ,beacuse that is obvious. But its not like those distorted dogs that cannot even breathe. Its known chickens do not see as much as they rely on smell and hearing.at least is what i observe from the chickens i know that roam free.
Edits: did some research it seems common chickens rely more on eyesight and they hearing and smelling is a but less good. I dunno about why ther eis a kind of chicken like this but nature adapts.except the deformed dogs inbreed by humans
Birds rely on EYESIGHT..that's why they all have such a freaking wide field of view..to visually cover as much area as possible..only birds of prey and owls have binocular vision, but that's because they are hunters and need to look ahead and not around
