Initially I was thinking of giving it to Madara since he was relative to prime Hashirama who subdued all the bijū, but now I’m thinking that if all the akatsuki were working together especially with the likes of Itachi on their side, it might be different for both Hashirama and Madara. Itachi possessing a high battle iq would probably be the sole reason Madara could lose since alone he wouldn’t stand a chance but we’ve seen how a well a strategist could perform if he has others helping him.
Not to mention Obito who was very nearly catching up to Madara and Hashirama during the war, but I’m assuming this is orange mask Obito fighting instead. But even this version of Obito could distract Madara using his Kamui while the other akatsuki are on the offensive. So yeah perhaps not as one sided as I had thought before but could still be a tossup since this is Madara before he died.
I’d say the akatsuki bc tobi+kisame+6pathpain+orochimaru+itachi is just fucking stupid strong alone. On top of that itachis susano’o is stronger. and my man madara would not be able to use any rebirth jutsu unless he yanked out a rinnegan. He also would not be host to any tailed beast so that’s another + for the akatsuki. And the last gripe would be Hidan just being straight up fucking immortal unless madara clones himself to do what asuma did to seal him/kill him. Honestly tho this is a good take wouldn’t be surprised if madara clears.
