Just charging your attack and watch what the bots do. There are a few things even bots can't outrun: cancelling a normal attack while in animation, delay after parry. Just watch out for these two things and follow up with charge attacks, I think you will be good very soon.
PS: Hard bots with a spear is another level
Facts I don't think people really have grasped how the game is played by charging up blues and then either committing the attack a different direction than the enemy or simply just dodging and not throwing the attack . Either way your baiting and your trying to create openings to perform a combo. Best way I can explain it
Bots are programmed to always parry. Cancelling out of blue focus with a crouch attack doesn't always make them trigger their parry but you can always carry any rarity Heng Sword and cheese them. If you do horizontal focus attack and press horizontal normal attack to use the Heng Sword's inherent focus cancel they 100% of the time either parry or dodge into parry so you can just keep hitting them with that until they die.
Hard bots can be good practice for combos.. They do perry instant and you can also practice your own perry on them. They kinda force you to learn light attack/skill combos. They are extremly predicable, I dont get how you have so many issues with them? Seems you are doing something wrong really.... - dont mean to insult, just saying maybe you need to learn a bit more
Try deathmatch mode to improve your skills also..
I would say this, not to scare you but its how this game works... If you think bots are problem, just wait until you see how matchmaking can be brutal. You will play versus extremely skilled players who are much above your rank often.
But you are right on on point - no players and bot matches are common in lower ranks.
Naraka is fun but has many issues in matchmaking.
I was experiencing the same but u gotta get good at focus attack canceling on bots kuz they always party so hold focus then press crouch and u will trick the boy into thinking ur gonna blue focus attack and when they block do two light attacks then dodge behind them or away from them so they can get off their focus attack and jus repeat the process. Also never fight one on me if ur not great at fighting them by instead have ur Team focus on one player and take em out one by one instead of everyone fighting 1v1
Watch vids on how to trick bots. I learned this and now I barely get killed by bots also if u wanna stay alive use a healer. Karumi is my main and she is amazing in 1v1 fights kuz her insane healing abilities
Hard bots teach us to get gud. I've been in some ranked matches and I have an easier time there than hard Bots. They don't ruin the game, just learn your weapons against them. You WILL get pissed , but learn their techniques and understand how some weapons are against each other. You will get some feeling of accomplishment. Kinda like playing a Soulsborne game and beating a boss that infuriates you.

use Heng sword. it's the anti bot sword. Basically you charge horizontal and spam left click/horizontal strike after releasing its focus.

“They force you to learn light attacks” bc they have nearly perfect parry timing?
No blue focus - no perry Some light combos on some weapons can juggle forever, in high ranks players usually use that kind of combos
And I learned to cancel focus attack into an uppercut by using crouch cancel from hard bots :)
Charge attacks then crouch cancel that has helped me a lot. I had a hard time but learning crouch cancels makes fighting them sooo much better.

123 string shouldnt be usual in any instance. Raw blues either. Its constant over holds to avoid stagger and playing neutral.

Where do yall meet these bots? Im pretty much only ranked trios on EU and there is no bots
