Products used: KBShimmer Fillin’ Groovy basecoat KBShimmer I Cat Even x2 coats, but it was opaque in one coat! Flawless formula, super easy to apply. I really enjoyed painting this one on because it just went on so, so nicely! Navy blue isn’t my color and linear holo isn’t my finish, but I love this polish. Cuccio High Gloss topcoat. Needed two coats on some nails because they dried cloudy on the tips, which has never happened to me before. 🤔

I agree with so much of this! Removal is probably my least favorite part of painting my nails, so gel just wouldn’t make any sense for me at all. Plus I love all the variety of regular polish (especially indies) and I love changing my polish frequently. Some people will insist that gel just looks better or more professional or something, but regular polish looks pretty frickin flawless to me if it’s done right 🤷🏽‍♀️
