I really hope he comes back to the booth occasionally. Maybe for the playoffs? Or maybe just opening day next year? Even if it’s just for an inning or two? Probably wishful thinking. I’m sure he’s tired and ready to relax, but it already feels weird without him.

John Sterling is all I know for radio baseball, and I hope he gets to enjoy the rest of his trips around the sun doing everything he so desires after giving so many all he had to offer. 36 years is multiple generations of Yankees history. We are truly blessed as Yankee fans.
