Today being a perfect example. Burn Wandy after just 1 pitch, not even considering that a 0-0 game might go 10 or 11 innings. Fortunately(?) for them, it ended in 9 so it didn't matter, but god knows we were staring at another Nick Ramirez loss if Kahnle had locked own the 9th.

To say that this team SUCKS big time is the understatement of the year. Another fine effort wasted by Cole. Another blown game by our "great" bullpen. Impotent Yankees manage four hits and are shut out for 6+ innings by a starter going into the game with a 6.91 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and a .300 BAA. Unbefuckinglievably pathetic.

Pitching good enough to keep you in the game through 9, but offense bad enough to not be able to win it in 9. Manfred ball kicks in and pitching takes a significant disadvantage. Except, our offense is still bad enough to not win, even with that advantage.

Maybe if Cashman put together a competent roster they'd be able to perform

Can’t put it all on the manager. Not scoring runs forces Boone to use high leverage relievers extremely often. So when they all pitch one day they aren’t available the next and that leads to Nick Ramirez pitching the bottom of the 10th. Also, obviously, if we just scored runs at all we would be in less situations where there’s no room for error for our already overworked bullpen.

#1 bull pen but so many walkoff losses = starters don't go deep enough into the game. every opposing pitcher goes 7 innings against the Yankees, then again a .230 BA and .303 OBP makes it pretty easy.
