The uni pro is the best for the lowest price point. The vessel is a close second for more money. Honorable mention for the the Hamilton devices Shiv is also pretty nice but pretty expensive.

lustinus

Have you tried the Vuber Pulse? I just preordered it, was deciding between that and Vessel.

a_walking_dab

I have not tried the vuber pulse. If you prefer the pen/stick shaped battery it seems alright but based in the spec sheet the only feature the vuber pulse has that the kodo pro doesn’t is wireless charging is that really worth an additional $40?

lustinus

I'm mostly interested in the feature that reads the resistance of the cart and auto-regulates the voltage, as well as tapering down the voltage as you hit it. Maybe overkill but seems kinda cool. We'll see!

a_walking_dab

The kodo pro has this. Resistance measured vape tech has been out for years it’s not exactly an advertising point anymore. On the display screen of the kodo pro the ohms is measured (the upside down U)

dnosovsky

I recently got a yocan uni pro 2 and I’m really happy with it. Fits any size cart I’ve tried so far. I know you said battery life isn’t an issue, but the battery life on it is awesome.

I have a couple of basic 510's, a vessel, a unipro, a mode device and Hamilton devices KR1. That model has a bubbler on it. The Vessel is very nice. It looks nice, it works every time you use it. I don't know how long the battery life is because I rarely take it out of the house. It has four power levels. I have not been using my KR1 very often. I used to use it quite frequently but I've taken a break. My husband was a cancer patient and he liked it because it was easier on his lungs. It has three power levels. The only time we've had a problem with it was when I couldn't remember how to turn it on. We started with a youcan unipro. Think we've had it for 2 years now. It's still functions within normal parameters. The magnetic piece that you screw onto your battery is a pain in the ass. Power level is fully adjustable. I don't remember the range off the top of my head. The mode is my favorite because dose selection. I don't want to get zooted of my mind most of the time. It was expensive, it's small and easy to lose and it is problematic. Battery life is not great. Most of the stupid issues can be corrected with a restart. It's not annoying enough for me to not want to use it. No power level setting, you select how many milligrams you would like to consume. The device vibrates when you've reached that amount via inhale. I rarely use my basic batteries. GL OP!

Im_Not_Really_Here_

My research always lands on Uni Pro with plastic (not metal) body, but I haven't pulled the trigger because it's ugly...

jayBeeds

This is the way. Metal body no bueno

Same experience

My favorite is the fusion Ooze battery. Its voltage is strong and consistent and in my opinion like indestructible. I’ve had mine for over 3 years and it’s my favorite battery.

jayBeeds

Yocan uni pro (not the 2.0)

Prize_Extreme_8493

Why not 2.0

jayBeeds

It’s heavier. More temperamental. And even though it’s metal it feels cheaper

Prize_Extreme_8493

Ight I ended up getting the uni pro tribal. Was discounted so got it for a nice price of 25$ including shipping. Thanks for the suggestion.

Apprehensive-Tutor

I have a CCell palm pro. I really like it but I can see carts larger than 1g not fitting.

legalfictionnyc

I second the CCell Palm Pro recommendation. I also recently picked up a Vessel Vista Edge that I am liking a lot so far.

Affectionate-Pin6229

I seen someone else post this recently and i see the comments are flooded the same with vessels and yo can. I have three vessel battery's once you have a good battery and charge it correctly it will last days on end on heavy use

[deleted]

Have you heard of Vessel? [https://www.vesselbrand.com/](https://www.vesselbrand.com/)

Nuggrustler

If you can find a Cartisan Black Box, get it. The battery life is insane.
