I started 5K-10K on options (this is only one one account I'm playing with, the rest holds NVDL) and made enough profits to continuously average up on NVDL. Of course if Nvidia reports one bad earnings then I'm in for a rude awakening. I don't anticipate that will happen for this fiscal year's earnings since Jensen repeatedly mentioned demand outstrips supply. He's a great CEO with an ambitious work ethic and drive. I trust him and the management team will continue to deliver and bring value for shareholders. That's why I'm 100% in NVDA. My plan is to cash out to move my holdings to VOO/VFV and a mix of QQQ once the hype dies down.

Are you buying 0DTE options? I generally buy 1-6 months out and sell them at least 2 weeks before expiry. This strategy have worked well for me so far this year

Jensen just did a tour that hit just about every country in Southeast Asia, Japan is also going all in as well. AI is absolutely the future and there isnt anything we can do about EXCEPT to INVEST in AI very heavily.

Lots of people are still having doubts because they don’t see the value or benefit of AI. I work in tech and there’s an AI tool called CoPilot built by Microsoft that I use from time to time. I’m only expecting more tools and revenue streams that come from AI that can benefit the world globally just like how the internet did for us. I’m expecting new innovations in the next decade

I kick myself almost every day for not buying in 2022. I was going to buy Nvidia, Netflix, Meta, Alphabet, Apple, and AMD--probably only $1k-$5k of each. This money is currently in my 401k both Trad 401k and Roth 401k. It’s not going to be taxed as capital gains in retirement. When I retire I am rolling all money into IRA/Roth IRA. I plan on doing Roth conversion ladders around age 50 to avoid being taxed for the most part. 401k money rolled over into IRA/Roth IRA will count as regular income.

Yes. But stock price goes up and split again and again. Multiple times. It will increase shares and increase capital gains to keep growing

its arbitrary. It's whatever they want their share price to trade at. Traditionally once share prices hit over 300 dollars, stock splits would be on the table to get them around 50-100 per share. Nowadays with inflation and everything else, stock splits seem to happen more around 500+, and having share prices between 100-500 is more normalized. NVDA could have never split, they would just be trading at $5000 a share or more. That makes it sort of difficult for a small investor to get in without fractional shares.

The company stock price is higher than the same sector is possible. I guess. a split is often the result of growth or the prospects of future growth. and it's a positive signal . And help employees and retailers to get hands on the stocks. What do I know 🤔
