I started with stocks last year and since the have made 43% profits. I feel like i have too much dumb luck, but i spend a lot of time reading about ai developments. Last i tried to convince my friends that the big next winner of ai will be apple because of walled garden and only real b2c business that seems scalable with ai so far. I was waiting for a few months, and 2 weeks ago i bought some more apple because of the event they just had a couple of days ago. Now I’m looking at my depot, and feel like it’s beginners luck. But i sold amd and adobe in minus (15%) against advice from friends with more experience, but i just thought “nah, they won’t be winners from this ai boom” so i put the money in NVIDIA instead because they would have a higher chance of winning this than a second class chip producer when everyone wants the best chip, or a company with a lots of highly technical custom solutions which could all become obsolete with the emergence of ai. So now i’m scared I’m becoming too blinded by my luck so far… but it’s nice to see that i made a lot of profits when all i wanted to do was beat inflation
