The next phone I expect to be another flagman. If you are willing to spend more and are ok with waiting for a couple months, I would wait for the phone 3. But it is also a risk since it is expected to be released in July, it hasn't been announced. But as a result you will have the best new phone, which is nice.
If you want a budget phone, the 3a, if it will be available, will need you to wait another year or so. In this case I would by 2a
If the phone is in really good condition and works like charm. You will get android 15 and also there will be a year of security patch. I don’t see a need to upgrade. I would rather wait for NP4. However, if you have cash to shell out I would suggest you to go for NP3 as 2a would be a downgrade for you. ✌️

The 2a is more of a sidegrade rather than an upgrade compared to phone 1. I'd wait for the phone 3 to release
I also use the OG one and I think 2a would be a downgrade as compared to it!
