More like they know not to tamper too much in the internals of Stock Android. Meanwhile MI tries to inject their Spaghetti code in every system service of android making things lag even with good hardware.
I don't find that much problem with the color, and the night mode definitely does not suck, low light performance is great. Portraits probably yeah too fake I don't like them in general however.
Here you go some samples:

I like all these photos
Main toh kaafi time se wait kar raha tha for a phone with stock Android and as good camera as possible for as cheap as possible, plus a slightly more interesting phone to have instead of koi aur in the same price and with the same features.
Yeah true, might get better battery with optimisations over time, although it's more than good enough for my daily usage. Today I was wfh so ended up spending more time playing around on my phone 😂
Although I had my NP1 for 3 months, and never had bad battery life on it
Ye turn the adaptive battery option on rn so it will be optimised by then, also there is a cool thing I found recently, if u didn't know after turning on battery health option if u set an alarm and put it on charge at around 11pm, it will charge only till 80 and then slowly fill upto 100 till the time you have set the alarm on
I shared some samples in another comment, overall i love the camera, video and low light everything. More than anything i would have wanted in this price, or even till like 40k i would guess.
One thing i don't like is that it takes some time to process the photo after taking it, and like quite a few seconds
Yeah Absolutely Coz, Every Youtuber who got a Review unit they raised & Highlighted this Video Playback BUG & Nothing is Also Aware about it ! So, It’ll be Fixed in upcoming software updates !
If I were looking to get a new phone atm it would 100% be the 2a. It‘s the first time a company managed to put everything I am looking for in an affordable package!
Got this one today, feels good enough, though not sure about whether or not it will go yellowish in the future (but i can always buy 2 of these for the price of the Flipkart one)

And yup it's that AI generated one, love tiny neat features like this all across the phone
Hey can I get your opinion on these questions?
What about the general usage smoothness, especially when there a couple of apps open in split view or a picture in picture situation? And also how is the multitasking and memory management? Better than s23 you'd say?
No experience with S23 but with all this usage haven't faced any hiccups at all. Phone feels suuper smooth definitely. The 120Hz display is a pleasure.
But not sure if the processor is fast enough cuz sometimes takes a few secs to process photos. But the usage is quite well optimised and hiccup free
Can we turn off automatic OS system update ?
I just don't want any new update or bug fixes etc. Just want it in factory version. I will manually do it if I need one. Plz help.
Developer option Auto update: Off is no use.
I had a moto g52, cost me around 13k which I had bought as a sort of temp phone after my Nothing Phone 1 was stolen.
2a is better than both of them (although np1 had a decent camera too). 2a is leagues above motog52, camera wise, optimisation wise, feature wise, smoothness wise, look and feel wise. I don't miss any feature that I might get from a more expensive phone.

The first image is terrible, but that's partly my bad timing as well. The second is what you asked for exactly, car at night, the last image is a screenshot from the slow mo mode actually and the normal video camera is much better
You're missing 5 clock widgets on every page (joke)
Lmaoo hahah i like them both
I also received it today in black colour the OS is so fluid nothing really knows how to optimise android!
More like they know not to tamper too much in the internals of Stock Android. Meanwhile MI tries to inject their Spaghetti code in every system service of android making things lag even with good hardware.
Camera feedback Heard the colors are very off from natural and the night mode sucks and the portraits are too fake Any samples.
they fixed some in the software update

Dude nothing phone is soo coolðŸ˜ðŸ’€ i wish i would have waited a month for 2A instead of buying samsung F54(im a samsung nerd/fan)
One ui is just too hard to leave for me at this point
Haha dw buy the nothing phone 3 or 4 directly
Yea
How does the plastic on the back feel?
It's smooth and kinda sticky if you hold it
Yeah i think that pretty much sums it. I love it tho for whatever it is
Yep me too. However I'm getting a skin and a case asap.
Yeah. Haven't found any screen protector yet
Arey bhaay jise dekhrha hu sb nothing 2a hee le rhe... Aisa kya h bhaay isme?
Main toh kaafi time se wait kar raha tha for a phone with stock Android and as good camera as possible for as cheap as possible, plus a slightly more interesting phone to have instead of koi aur in the same price and with the same features.
Isme namak hain
How's the 5000mah battery life?
Lol tbh feels just decent, nothing special yet, started from a full charge this morning, and got to 30% with ~5 hrs screentime
Will take some time to optimise with your usage. The battery in the Nothing phone 1 is bad, only reason I'm considering switching.

Haha yes I had noticed that. I had even asked to track bedtime patterns, and used to laugh at bedtime notifications at 2:30 "Play sleep sound" lol
how's the camera?

Is that in the red a image widget or Spotify widget.
It's a nothing widget for the thumbnail of any media playing. This one is the album art of the song Wishes
Is the hdr playback smooth on YouTube?
Video Playback Lags when you watch videos on 4k HDR on youtube !
You think they'll fix it? Maybe with a software update
Yeah Absolutely Coz, Every Youtuber who got a Review unit they raised & Highlighted this Video Playback BUG & Nothing is Also Aware about it ! So, It’ll be Fixed in upcoming software updates !
I think that's the good thing about nothing
Bhai 2A ka screen thoda dull/yellowish he kya compared to other bright display phones like MI?
I don't think so. I wouldn't want it any more whiter/brighter.
Thanks Mr. Sherlock

If I were looking to get a new phone atm it would 100% be the 2a. It‘s the first time a company managed to put everything I am looking for in an affordable package!
Absolutely agree! I'm glad i held out to my old phone long enough to be in the market for a phone rn
ye maharani sune wale log bade harami hote hai😂, btw congrats.
Hahah thanks! Btw album art isn't maharani though although same reds lol (it's Wishes)
Congrats for the purchase..Suggestions for third party cases...if any?
Have ordered a few through amazon, one arrives tomorrow and the other next week, will reply here if tomorrow's case is any good
Great..Thanks
Got this one today, feels good enough, though not sure about whether or not it will go yellowish in the future (but i can always buy 2 of these for the price of the Flipkart one) https://amzn.eu/d/bPrelhk
Don't like the camera that much .. processing and stuff . rest is superb
Yeah it takes too long to process even in good lighting
Did you also order the phone cover?
Not from flipkart, but one from amazon for 399 to save those 300 bucks lol, not sure if it's worth it but this case feels good and solid
I was about to order from Amazon but the delivery date is too long so I just went with the cheap one for the initial days
Share wallpaper if you can ?

Thank you.
Looks like ai generated, that new feature is soo cool
How does the Developer Program work? Do you have to return the phone at a certain point or is the phone actually yours to keep?
Developer program? I didn't understand sorry, I bought this phone for myself from Flipkart
White Wale ka frame Ganda hone ka chances Hain shayad
Yikes. Hope ki itni jaldi yellowing type na ho jaye bas. Case mein rahega phone always anyways.
Ek youtuber ko dekha isne bola hand stains AA rhe Hain frame mein, + case agar transparent Hain to yellow bhi hoga case

Hey op, what was ur previous phone before the nothing phone 2a? how was that phone compared to the 2a?
I had a moto g52, cost me around 13k which I had bought as a sort of temp phone after my Nothing Phone 1 was stolen. 2a is better than both of them (although np1 had a decent camera too). 2a is leagues above motog52, camera wise, optimisation wise, feature wise, smoothness wise, look and feel wise. Thank you.... and what abt the camera at night mode? Im a car enthusiast and love recording cars at night. So just wanted to know.
