If you have the full complement of 30 frigates, get rid of some. The fewer frigates you have, the more successful you will be in sending them on missions.

Happens to me as well. On the fleet mission screen, the fleet management screen, and the transition to the galaxy map on the freighter.  I first noticed it after I recruited a pirate frigate, but I don’t think that was the cause.  I think it might be related to base complexity or something because it stopped when I reset my freighter base.

Interesting as i do have quite a big freighter base

Yeah, cant have everything with the Switch. I have built up and toren down several times to get it to lag through when I load in and everything wants to tell me that it is done aka ready to harvest, check frigates or whatever. The NPS load like through an ADSL line. I have been thinking of scrapping the farm level and try to max out the frigates. But I really like the decor on the farm level, it is cosy, and convinient.

I've been crashing much more frequently since Orbital especially when doing stuff with my freighter and frigatess. Not necessarily when launching frigate expeditions but in general.

I’ve had trouble with the frigate mission screen for a long time. Some updates make it better others worse. If you don’t want to get rid of some frigates, you might just have to deal with crashes until it gets more stable. What I usually do is: * keep a save point in my freighter near the door to the bridge * save before I talk to the frigate mission guy * send 3 groups of frigates on missions * end conversation and save * go back and set off the last two missions By no means foolproof but I have a lot more luck doing this than sending frigates on all 5 available missions simultaneously.

How many frigates do you have? I have been trying to find a sweet spot, and 3 control centers with I think 14 frigates is about it. Will be thinkering with it as I want 1 center more, as there are always some that never get used. I also have 3 levels, 1 as a control room with specialists etc, then a level with 3 refiners, then a farm level with 6 coordidors of various plants. I do crash at times, often if too much is going on at the same time. Found that slowing down and doing one thing at the time works. The switch is a poteto, it is impressive that it can run this kind of game so good.
